Satellite Communications Spawning

Recommended Posts

After you mow everyone down and jump into truck The Lost will show up on bikes and you can mow them down as they pull up into the area the mission started.

However, sometimes they spawn much farther down the road. Today, I tried getting in the truck, getting out, hiding behind my car parked at the start and The Lost didn't show up. I drove down to a certain intersection, they showed up coming from two angles, and it was a mess. I died once and then had to drive all the way back up to the truck. Driving down with the truck has caused NPC's to ram into the truck and jackknifing it as a result of The Lost's gunfire.

Does anyone know a way to always have them drive up to where the mission starts? If I play it with someone else they always die if The Lost doesn't spawn where the mission starts after you get in the truck. Figuring this out would make this mission much more enjoyable.

Thanks in advance.

Yea they made the missions hard now, not really harder just upped the ante now as far as spawning. I beat stocks and scares solo almost 2 weeks ago and had 133 kills when it was all said and done. But Satellite Communications was close to a 40 kill mission anyway from what I remember, probably in the 100s now as well if they enhanced the difficulty. I always stopped at that 4 way intersection, got out took cover behind some boulders and finished them, that's not new OP as far as the spawn location, but more of them might spawn now since all of the so called fixes R* has implemented.

The update didn't make it more difficult.

Sometimes The Lost drive up to where the truck is and other times you have to drive to them. There is a certain area they always spawn at far down the road. It's been that way for as long as I've played it.

I just want to figure out how to get them to spawn by the truck all the time. I doubt the coding is worked as a dice roll so something my character does makes it happen. I just want to figure out what.

I haven't seen them come all the way up the hill in a longggg time. Last time I played that mission was over a month and a half ago, and I would say the last 30 plus times I've played it they always spawned where I mentioned at the first 4 way intersection.

They did it today and yesterday for me. I shoot them by the truck more than I do at that intersection.

If they do spawn at that 4-way intersection how do you handle it?

I've learned getting out of the truck and trying to take cover works better than just driving. Driving results in death.

Does anyone know the exact area they spawn? If I could find that I could drive my PV down, park behind it, run to the spawn point, and then take cover behind my car. That would kick butt.

I do this mission all the time, it's one of my favorites.

They spawn in after you come down the hill, make the right and then at the 4-way intersection where you make the right onto the divided road going past the outdoor theater.

If you're going solo, just drive. As long as they are behind you all they can do is just shoot the trailer which is harmless. If they spawn in front of you they get a 1-2 second window where you might take a shot or two as they pass by. Once they are behind you they will never attempt to overtake.

You're better off just ignoring the bikers and just focus on avoiding traffic and keeping the truck on the road.

I will try this tomorrow morning if they don't spawn where the truck is.

Thank you.

I love this mission as well. This was the only gripe I had with it. Well, aside from not being able to lock onto enemies through the red satellite tower. I can sometimes free-aim enemies hiding past it, but not always.

I wish more played this mission.
