Hipster update = Rockstar throws us a bone because no heists for a whi

GTAO is great, but there have been big delays on almost every new thing released for it.

I'm wondering if we won't actually get heists until August or later, and this is Rockstar's way of trying to hold us over until then. After all, we usually get a "heads up there will be a new update" several weeks before the update, and this one just got dumped on us. Almost as though some of these cloths and cars were supposed to be released with the heists update, but heists needed more time in the oven, so they gave us this instead and rebranded it the Hipster update.

Think so?

I think you should calm down about heists. Be grateful R* is keeping the game fresh with these new updates.

Well, I'm not angry about it or anything. I actually got bored of GTAO a few months ago and I only log on when a new update comes on to buy all the new cloths for my male and female character.

I don't feel I should be "grateful" that Rockstar is still giving us bare-bones cosmetic updates that in no way change the game. Rockstar isn't doing it out of the goodness of their heart. Rockstar is a business, and their microtransaction revenue depend on them giving us shiny new things to buy. Once microtransaction revenue drys up, you can mark my words that the updates will come to a schreeching halt.

Maybe so, but if heists ain't ready, they ain't ready.

I'd rather they take the time to get it more or less dialed in than release a half baked DLC in the interest of meeting some arbitrary deadline.

Yea, I can respect that. I'd rather have a quality release with good replay value than a scaled-down version that hit its deadline.

It would have been nicer if Rockstar didn't mismanage everyone's by expecations by giving us deadlines they would miss by miles, but GTAO has still been an excellent game overall.

At this point heists will not live up to the wait and peoples expectations for them. The long wait and probably low payouts or restrictiveness of heists will just ignite these boards with disappointment. Rstar has had something every month for us and frankly some new clothes and cars will give me more enjoyment than the heists probably will/

I'm still holding out, rather stupidly I might add, that we'll get heists at the end of the week/beginning of the next. They're just glorified missions, do they really need to be a big fanfare just for that?

I'm hoping for more complex missions rather than just kill this. Don't blow up this. deliver this

Who even cares about heists? This update rocks.

People still care about it. So you like spending gta$ on digital cars & clothes every month, good for you! Now take your fanboy gratefulness and shove it up your ass. That goes for the rest of you gtaf simpletons.

OT: Yes op its obvious R* throws the 5yr olds a bone while keeping quiet about heists. It screams that they are under pressure.

Im sure by the end of june the MOST you will see regarding heists is an announcement about it. What kind of annoncement will that be? I don't know

Cars are way too expensive because we will buy them, then R* will release heists next weekend letting us get our money back.

this foo has a valid point chap, drain our banks then feed us new missions, insuring more people participate

brilliant play

I'm not complaining but I do hope we'll see updates that add real-time activities to GTAO. Such as diving, surfing, fishing, mountain climbing. Anything really.

You are free time climb mountains now.......I may be wrong...
