GTAO: Security DLC [Concept]

Recommended Posts

Hello!

This is my Idea for a GTA Security DLC!

MAIN FUNCTION

You are able to call Merryweather and get 1-3 Bodyguard(s) for 6h-12h-24h. They are protecting you from Griefers and red-dot-players. (You are able to set if you want they kill light-red dots too).

You can only get a Bodyguard once a Ingame-week. (So it can't be really abused)

Bodyguards are driving behind you with a black Dubsta, Buffalo or a Oracle (You can set this while you are speaking with Merryweather)

If anyone kill your Bodyguard, another one will spawn automatically near you in It's Security Car.

There is a white list. You can choose a Player, who will not be killed if he comes near to you. (You can set this when you call Merryweather)

PRICE LIST

1 Bodyguard for 6h = $ 50.000

1 Bodyguard for 12h = $ 150.000

1 Bodyguard for 24h = $ 250.000

2 Bodyguards for 6h = $ 150.000

2 Bodyguards for 12h = $ 250.000

2 Bodyguards for 24h = $ 350.000

3 Bodyguards for 6h = $ 250.000

3 Bodyguards for 12h = $ 350.000

3 Bodyguards for 24h = $ 450.000

VEHICLES

I think it sounds interesting, basically mercenaries (already in the game) that follow you instead of hunting one target.

Price does need to be higher though, doesn't fit in the to price brackets of GTAO - would be more like $5-15K. You don't want these in every map all the time.

EDIT: my bad, I thought he meant $450.00 not $45,000, nobody would use it at $450,000, that's rediculous. Also rediculous is using a "." as a thousands seperator when "," is RIGHT THERE.

I'll give the OP some credit. These are not terrible suggestions. Needs some tweaking, but the idea certainly fits within GTAO lifestyle.

It could be used to grief though. I don't care, but the softies might. Imagine getting spawn killed by some dudes bodyguard lol. That'd be a bitch

I have to say the prices are a little steep for additions that aren't really that well thought out or really necessary.

The vehicles on the other hand are pretty cool and I like the idea of better armour. With armour, however, you have to make it so it is still destructabe...its just made more difficult to take down. The vehicles you're talking about, realistically, are armoured up to 30 calibre with some going all the way up to 50 calibre. So you'd want to set that as a benchmark. So with that in mind, if I bought the armoured truck for instance, I'd expect to last quite a while with the cops shooting at me, but as soon as someone gets an RPG, a few grenades, a sticky bomb, heavy sniper or sustained machine gun fire, I'd be toast. This, as a vehicle, is fair enough. With the upcoming heists, it would be briliant.

I'd say as an option for normal vehicles, it would have to be severely reduced and it may even have to have a negative property, i.e. reduce top speed by 20-30%, as well as acceleration. You have to pay the price for adding all that armour and taking all those hits. So you have the choice of get out of their quickly with standard armour (which I see as more a structural thing) or get out of there all armoured up but rather slowly.

So yeah, some ideas are good...others are just bad I'm afraid.
