chaveta Posted December 28, 2002 Share Posted December 28, 2002 i was playing VICE today, so i was like, heh.. i got 70%.. mine as well try those damn paramedic missions today, so i did them a couple a times, got up to lever 4 as the highest, then i tried it a second time and something reallly REALLY weird happened... ok, i start up the mission, pick up the ONLY patient i was supposed to pick up, but as soon as i did on the right side of the screen [where all your things are] it said, in green TV like fonts "4 remaining" i was like "whaaa?" but still, i delivered him, then i picked up the other one [for level 2] and it said "3 remaining" and "2 remaining" for the next one, so then i go on to level 3 and i pick up ONE guy and it said "one remaining" and then as i approach the next one... I LOST CONTROL OF THE AMBULANCE!!! it started driving by itself!!, i tried to stop cuz it was going straight for hte patient, i hit the brakes, R1, anything but he just rammed her, and obviously it said "mission failed" and then guess what? MY TV TURNED OFF!!!! my dad was like "what the f*ck?" and so was i... thats the freakiest thing thats ever happened to me playing a video game... EVER... has this happened to anyone else?? chaveta Posted December 28, 2002 Author Share Posted December 28, 2002 i did all vigilante, and i got up to level 8 or something in firetruck missions.... the freakiest part is that it pretty much counted it down!... freaked... but i'm still gonna do it in that area, most of them appear in the beach! Just remember.....TAKE YOUR TIME! There is no reason to rush....IE:SPEED. I did it my second time out. First time I flipped it on the beach because I usually have a lead foot and I forgot the ambulance is unbalanced. Just speed on the paved straight aways. It is by far the easiest side mission to do. Its all luck with that mission. no way dude. the firetruck missions are the easiest thing in the whole game. i did the firetruck missions up to level 15 in the time i did "the party". not including the three hour cut-scene tho. the ambulance is all luck dude not the firetruck. sniperguy you retard he said his tv fonts are bigger dumbass. so if he sat on the remote it wouldn't have mattered kuz his tv font is BIGGER.
