Vice City Needs A Remake

Recommended Posts

I think Vice City would be much better if they remade the game with better graphics...or maybe GTA VI will be based in Vice City.

No, it doesn't need it, GTA: Vice City is magic how it is. If you want, you can download the "GTA: Vice City RAGE" Mod and play it with the same graphics and physics as GTAIV.

Most likely, Vice City will be the setting for GTAVI, at least I hope.

Just like Los Santos, Vice City has had only 2 games featured there. Liberty City has had at least 5 games that I know of.

Los Santos[san Andreas]- GTA: San Andreas, GTA V

Vice City - GTA: Vice City, GTA: Vice City Stories

Liberty City - GTA III, GTA IV, GTA: Liberty City Stories, GTA: The Ballad of Gay Tony, GTA: The Lost and Damned

I can only imagine a remake of Vice City into GTA VI. That my friend, would be the best GTA ever.

Not correct, Liberty City is featured in 8 GTAs, and these are:

- GTA1

- GTAIII

- GTA: Advance

- GTA: Liberty City Stories

- GTAIV

- GTA: The Lost and Damned

- GTA: The Ballad of Gay Tony

- GTA: Chinatown Wars

Vice City is featured in 3 GTAs, respectively:

- GTA1

- GTA: Vice City

- GTA: Vice City Stories

San Andreas was also present in GTA1, but it was based on San Francisco.

Those were only the ones I have played.

I've never played:

- GTA1

- GTA: Advance

-GTA: Chinatown Wars

As I said, I only knew of 5.

I agree, in my opinion Vice City was one of the better GTA titles, would love to see it in the RAGE engine or maybe something more advanced.

I'd love to see Vice City in GTA VI... let's just wait, I'm sure rockstar won't forget about VC.

You will more than likely get your wish with GTA6.

Guarantee it will be in Vice City (and if not, most definitely a re-made Las Venturas).

It's featured in GTA San Andreas as well.

I don't feel like Vice City needs a remake, however one would be amazing if it was the exact same game just upgraded to current generation graphics and physics. Sadly though I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be able to keep themselves from adding new features like parachutes and diving, the latter of which I absolutely hate.

And if we count the little things, an interior from Marco's Bistro appears in GTA Vice City, though only in a cutscene.

No thanks. I like my character models to move like blocks on legs, my cars to handle like they're on rails and my fall from 50 feet to result in a loss of five life.

Some things should not be touched. The original Vice City is one of them. It doesn't need a RAGE port. They'll accomplish what they need in a future, Miami based game.

No, I'd rather see something new than a rehash of something I've already seen.

Yet, if Rockstar remakes the PS2 games, you can still play the original PS2 games. They aren't going to try and take those away from you.

The PS2 games will probably be remade at some point, because people still love those games and they're not aging like wine. With each year, older games from pre-HD consoles gather dust because modern technology gives us better controls, graphics, and we don't play them with the same mindset. Every time I go back to play the PS2 GTA games, I am reminded that they were special for me when they were modern and had the best graphics and controls for any system. I can't relive that because I've grown and experienced better games on a technical level.

You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes you might find you get what you need.

GTA VI will probably be in Vice City, Las Venturas, or San Ferro. It could be an entirely new city. Chances are you'll play it.

The reason of ''NO'' is because it doesn't need one. It looks good how it is. If R* is going to remake it, then they will screw up it's athmosphere. And sorry if that was a spam. I just gave my opinion :)

Also you can download the VC RAGE if you want a remake...

The game? No. The city? For sure. We need an HD Vice City to fit in the with the HD Era and hopefully GTA VI.

Leave it as it is. Its a cool game and can be used for "bringing old memories of GTA" back. :)

I definitely want to revisit Vice City and with a high level of organized crime, in an even more interesting story, activities and terrific handsome protag as Tommy Vercetti!

While GTA 6 is most likely going to be a revisit to Vice City, especially since there are such allusions in GTA 5, I really want more than anything for Rockstar to set GTA 6 in an entirely new city.

I don't think you get it. You can still play Vice City. No one will take it away from you. If Rockstar remade it, it wouldn't be bad. It would be amazing, and if you can't appreciate that, then you can stick to your original game.

Um. They did remake it: 10th anniversary edition.

I'm playing it on my phone...my f*cking phone, can you believe that? It's awesome; the same game, just a little bit of a visual upgrade.

My wife is playing San Andreas on hers. They fit San Andreas in her phone.

I'm sorry but I'm old and this sh*t amazes me sometimes.

I wouldn't be against Vice City being the next GTA or even premium dlc for GTAV/O. Then of course they should rework the map: much bigger city, surrounding swampland, and a big dopy amusement park.
