Hall of Famer Tony Gwynn Dead at 54

It's a shame this isn't the huge news story it deserves to be. If he played for the Yankees or Red Sox, or if he was a power hitter, the world would stop.

He was the best hitter of the late 80s early 90s. There's not much doubt there. A career .338 batting average over 19 seasons. That's ridiculous. And from all accounts, the most humble, and gracious star athlete around.

Rest in Peace.

And let's cut dipping out of baseball.

I Love Anna Kournikova

they said a year or so ago that they were going to try and make dip illegal in MLB Dugouts and on t he field. At the time, I thought it was ridiculous.

But Since I started coaching High School Baseball and have actually heard some kids say "All the Major LEague guys are doing it and they have turned out fine." I have changed my mind.

sh*t needs to go.
