How How and How ? I liked the result but me more interested with the progress itself.

 

Are u using Sandbox in Sketch Up to create the Landscape ? (You do the same thing to created Hole ?) Or you use another 3d apps to create it ?

 

And the textures ?

Texture source ? The textures looks HD and Sharp and Nice editing skills right there <3

 

I liked it so much

 

And I have a question, about Multiple Texture in Sketch up when u Distorted the image (move the Yellow Pin)

When u export it, Sketch Up will created another texture with 'strange' name

 

Is it possible to disable this feature ?

Or you know how to fix this issues ?

How How and How..........

-For holes,I use 3ds max.In sketchup you need to buy plugin for that,and it's still far from good

-Textures,I use GTA V,IV,MP3 textures and objects-OpenIV to export them

I don't want to brag about this,but I have skills to make them but.....time and will

So the only thing I made is terrain ground and skyscraper in this mod

Rest of textures are from internet,when you are long time in this game,all you need is to type sand,or concrete on google and select pictures larger then 2500 in res,then you find decent one and make textures from it +make it seamless

free textures,There's a lot of sites tho

 

-Yeah Sketchup is buggy,lol,Only reason I used sketchup is bcus my PC is weak,when it come to UV maping in 3ds max,he crashed sometimes

-in my sketchup 2016 there's a warning sometimes when you opening,saving project \ Sketchup ask - to fix your model in scene

-Its weird tool srs,I remember when making grove street,I had problem with texture,some end up streched to much,fuqed up

-he does rename your textures,so what,is it problem you to rename it again,again more times gone- time time time

So I had to import again exported model from sketchup and fix all that mess,this is also game of patient and time is freaking wanted

people thinks its simple,import in program,edit,export,play game,If it's like that,I would continue this

 

I will tell you this,every single time I imported something in sketchup and start editing,that thing never end up good and safe-ready for 3ds max to add NVC and play the game,always some bug,glitch,hole,and grove street is example,he have holes I didn't saw

 

I see you editing stuff in sketchup,well easy with that please,game can't handle that in to much amount

 

And I am not dying,why everyone saying goodbye,dude ask me on PM anything,I remember you the guy who asked me a lot about this on email,please use forum

Aren't you using kams scripts? It often makes models f*cked up in game.

all morning I'm looking for a solution to make it work. this gives shock in clean play without mods...

even the "junior_djjr" version that climbed the same has problems :/

We use Sketchup for IMPUNES game. It's really buggy, but seem to vary from version. We use version 8 (yes, very old) mainly because it has fewer bugs and is free for commercial use (thanks, Google!).

Sketchup 2014 made me miss an entire project (I was fixing vanilla Tuning Mod's garage) because of a bug that "ate" the model every time I saved, like a virus.

Despite problems, Sketchup has great productivity when it comes to architectural modeling without much model details. I recommend using Sketchup 8 with several extensions to make it "tuned". Note that the best extensions are in Sketchucation.

 

I created an introduction tutorial to SketchUp for GTA (or game design in general) in my forum.

 

Anyone that has a lot of willpower can do Insanity things, you don't have to treat Ezekiel as a god that only he can do, but preferably don't try things like Grove St... the game does not support all this besides it is very difficult, if someone thinks of doing as Ezekiel did, do less detailed things, or you will have headaches...

In fact, any change of model on the map is already very welcome to the players. I don't particularly like trying to let GTA SA seem like a last-generation game, to me, simply improve or edit areas is great to make the game alive.

 

@Kyrie your model style is perfect for GTA SA: high textures with low model. Keep it up.

 

A project named GTA Brasil (that I also helped) was also remodeling parts of GTA SA, as so, all vehicles. They use just Sketchup and ZModeler. The worst part is not in creating, but adapting: collision, prelighting and LOD.

 

 

There is an error in gta.dat do you have any solution...?

If you already tried the different installations and solutions... maybe the problem is because you aren't using Open Limit Adjuster.

Search for the crash here.
