well,weird,worked with me on new clean SA instalation with gta.dat,I fixed it,download it again

between tnanks,Don get me wrong yall,this isn't priority now,I showed reflections back in 2016 and,now you see it's not splendid..

Reflections seems to really work and it looks good too Nice work guys! I one of the fans of this project and I'm sicking around you, I'll be always supporting you guys keep it going fellas!! We your fans haven't buried you Ezekiel

Cool and subtle effect.

It's a pity that you have made it too close to the surface, it's causing z-fighting easily.

You also used too common IDs that may cause incompatibility with other map/object mods. I suggest you to use 11845-11850.

refl.ipl is useless.

.txt can be just:

 

COLFILE 0 data\maps\refl1.colIDE data\maps\refl.ide
So the user can use any name folder for the mod that will work.

And why lan2_stream*.ipl files? It's exactly the same as original files.

Also, may be necessary to use Open Limit Adjuster in some cases.

yeah,more you move reflection mesh far from buildings,the alpha hole become larger-main issue,well I don't take this modification of mine serious like people thought here,IMAO,I don't even use it

To simply load files create text file and write in:

IPL data\maps\yourmapname.iplIDE data\maps\yourobjectsids.ideDFF models\gta3.img\yourobject.dffIMG models\gta3.img\yourimgfile.img #it is same for TXD,just you need to put *.txd as file typeDAT data\yourscript.datCOLFILE 0\models\gta3.img\collisionobj.col

It doesen't matter folder location,i reccomend for every file type putting it in modloader like this

 

 

IPL modloader\modfolder\modname.ipl

Ezekiel's Cutscene Characters depends on DK's Specular Map Plugin to work properly. Installing it would resolve the weird problem you're facing.

Emmm, yeaa ...

But I read from Normalmap Thread

Ezekiel said if u used Normalmap, NVC will not works.

 

Idk if Ezekiel already solved that problem ;'/

You can, but like Kyrie mentioned NVC won't work, if you try to do both the thing you applied last overwrites the other.

 

Other then that you may also run into a crash after a while playing (Caused by the normal map plugin + several other mods being incompatible with it).

man.. i still remember that time when you released the very first images of this whole "INSANITY" that you wanted to create, and everybody in here went crazy... good times man... it was great while it lasted, and it was also great seeing you in here once more after a long time, we'll miss you (again) :'(

Insanity without Ezekiel, not Insanity

 

why not just created new 'name' instead using 'insanity' name ?

because the style with the texture, position, and object placing, will be so different.

I tested normal maps long time ago,didn't get NVC effects,but I didn't stick around to much with that,maybe possible if somehow in RW you do the magic,but anyway not interested,I think to much normal maps will be hard for sa....

I got it to work, seems too much work to edit the dff to get it to work. Either way thanks for your help man, really appreciated it, and good luck with your real life endeavors.
