I mean, the sig of Greasepalms is funny, even if I cant read it but...

that's not fair to them who made some awesome Sigs this time and

put a lot of affort into it. But ok, its a fun contest so I can understand it ^^

Don't meant to be rude, but we shouldn't be counting joke signatures, like Greasepalms. If it was serious, well once again I apologize but you can't really shrink a comic to a small size and call it a signature. Anyway...

No, you didn't broke any rule. But your Signature is bullsh*t (Sorry for being rude too).

But it's not your fault that all vote for it. Everyone is allowed to post, but the votes should be fair.

 

This competition is for Signature Makers who give many time and effort into their signatures.

At least it has been always so. And always the best signture won.

Now your signature catch all the good votes, and the real good signatures like from Roboton,

Mockage or ElPaisa are losing only because of the damn stupid votes.

As I said before, it's just a fun contest, but this contest is NOTHING WORTH

if a fun signature wins. Then you losing the enthusiasm to post a signature in next

Event.

Also, if a new member, a good signature maker maybe, or just someone who also wanna try it,

sees your Signature as winner-signature, well, I'd think then "Dammit here I dont post anything, that's not worth it"

 

Think about that.

That's just my opinion, and if you don't accept it, just don't reply.

But I'd like to hear outstanding opinions, from someone who don't participated

I see it as if his sig wins it's not his fault, it's all the people voting for it. Thats allways been a problem with this kind of vote stuff, see the Eurovision for example... Thats what I said too, I've nothing against fun-sigs. But I've something against members who give all their votes to them who created it.

It's just unfair for others. But I've to take it as it is. But sad to see such voting in SOTW. Wont join in again. First of all.

I agree, if people are voting for that kind of signature, then i might as well throw in a whole bunch of text that can't be read, a few sloppy logos that fit with the theme and BOOM! NO! SOTW ain't about that. I keep thinking of SOTW as an "inspirational" competition, where the best of the best compete against new members and such, the inspirational part comes to the new members, they see what other people did and implement it onto their style! Yeah, we might of used pictures, added extra effects, text and borders, to make it look good! i repeat, LOOK GOOD! for people to look at and say, wow, that looks good! and heck, even use it if they want! but, eh, it's whatever! He played fair against everyone else, the image qualifies, it's the voters sometimes!

It's a sig, so regardless, he's allowed to enter. Just because his band buddies voted for him doesn't mean anything. Everyone submitted a great signature, nothing to be disappointed about. It's a harmless competition on a forum board.

But that's what I also said, it's just a fun-Compeition,

but I think a little bit seriousness is needed.

 

But I wont discuss anymore. Just happy about 4-0 for germany,

As long as the signature doesn't break any rules, and sort of fits the theme (in greasepalms case i have NO IDEA actually) They are allowed to enter. But in the future i can maybe gather some other members and check for sigs that aren't serious at all, and not include those. ok?

The competition is getting boring from week to week , i think that you should spice it up a bit by setting 4 colors as a base for each theme like they do in the deviant-art competitions and each one who votes should state the reason why he liked this and what he did not like about that ect ect ...
