Tips for landing big air jumps on motorcycles?

Recommended Posts

Is there a certain bike or a certain method of driving that enables one to land bike-air jumps successfully? There are some awesome jumps in the game (in the mountains) which seem pointless because I always fall off my Bati or die upon landing.

Thanks

Try and land at an angle. Other than that, I think it just comes down to luck.

It is possible to survive even if you end up falling off due to the height, usually with a sliver of health or so left.

Max health and super heavy armor help.

Here's an actual tip you might find useful. Lean back until both of your wheels are at 12 o clock, try to hold it there. This slows descent and pushes you forward through the air allowing you to travel greater distance. When you get close to the ground let go and then lean slightly forward at the last moment before impact.

If you take the time to put on a helmet, it will significantly cut the amount of times you die should you crash. Good luck fellow stunter.

No proof, but I swear, braking mid-air helps. I often will brake in the air, while pulling back just before landing.

Of course, sometimes I land, sometimes, I crash, and many times it tells me I committed suicide. Which I didn't. Stupid thing that tells me that. grr! ;)

Lol, i got told once that I committed suicide in an unarmed deathmatch after i knocked someone out and then died for no reason. I think they cheated though. pretty much whenever you die and no npc or player kills you it was suicide

Assuming you land on two wheels, then you wonder why you fall, just imagine a super force going upwards striking your balls, penis and anus at once.

Anyway, always land with slightly tilted backwards. Check the terrain you're going to land on and feel it.

You can also try a little bit daring by tilting the bike a little bit forward, but don't blame me if your face kiss the ground.

This.

Doing the 'glide glitch' on a moto will not only make you travel much farther, but it sets you up in a better position to land on your back wheel, which is the best way to attempt to land a big air jump.

*edit: and as Mar said, 'good luck fellow stunter'. OP if you're on xbox, and want to stunt in freeAim (only mode myself and my crew play in), send me a PM with your GT.

Have fun
