New perspective on Mission Playlists

With heists right around the corner, I thought of a new way that mission playlists could have more of a purpose.

Instead of just playing missions that have no relevance to eachother, what if they were directly connected.

For example, the special explosive stolen in Chemical Extraction would be used in the next mission like Mixed Up With the Coke. Where you have to actually plant it on the vans to blow them up. Then once you steal the document from that mission, it's implemented in the next mission and so on.

It also seems like Madrazo, Trevor, Lester etc always have a problem that shouldn't even exist since it's been somewhat dealt with in other missions done for them.

Just a thought.

Any other inputs would be nice.

Good idea, it would be cool if the documents from RR were stolen, then you have to get them back. Or the crate from Coveted is actually Gerald's stuff (if you know what I mean)

Yeah, you get my point.

I like this idea also, cause maybe it'd decrease the amount of RR and Coveted grinders and actually give players some meaning to playing missions. Since I myself, actually like playing missions for fun, not for $$$/RP.

I like the idea, but worry that it would just turn into one long-drawn out mission. This opens up a host of issues; boredom, disconnects/freezes after serious time investment, etc.

Still, I like the idea of them being linked somehow.

These issues exist right now with the current playlist system, so they would only decrease IMO.

I seem to do alright within a playlist, usually only disconnecting when it tries to load back in freeroam.

I don't see them decreasing with this idea, perhaps maintaining the status quo, but not decreasing. In all actuality, you can kind of do this now, with a bit of imagination.

And again, I like the idea, so please don't take this as negative criticism.

I remember an idea sort of like this floating around a while back... Like if you completed a set number of missions in a row (like 5 Simeon missions, or one mission from each contact) you'd get a bonus payout at the end.

Not a bad idea at all and really wouldn't be hard to implement, I wouldn't think.

hey i like that ideal

Good idea, i would like to have a reason to go back and do those lower level jobs again. Honestly, I rarely did a mission twice if it didn't pay 5 digits. I have all jobs checked on my list, but I don't remember 75% of them, cuz there was no reason to repeat them.

Also, I lol'd at the idea of Heists being "right around the corner" XD
