MONKEYbusinezz5
I've wanted to get a Sports Classic for awhile now, and I don't know if it'll be worth it. I already have a Zentorno and Elegy (i'm going to get a coquette soon, it feels better) for racing. Will it be worth the buy, and, if so, which one should I get? Pavle
You should get the Manana. backward_axis
XJpostman
They are worth it if you end up in a sports classics race. Apparently the Munroe is one of the better ones and it's decently cheap, I've never driven it. I love the look of my Stinger GT but it doesn't feel like I'll be winning a lot of races with it. Haven't had a chance to try yet.
KristoLewis
I used to have a Roosevelt, Z-type, Tornado, JB700 and Monroe, replaced them all with cheap classic cars (Rat loader, rusty Tornado, Buccaneer and a Vigero) except the Roosevelt, cause its rare. I really love the Roosevelt and Vigero
2Chains4Bracelets
The thing is, you haven't specified what you might want a sports classic for. I would not recommend a Manana as your first because while it's a cool looking car with mods, it's also slow as hell and you'll probably get shot up whenever you try to drive it. Which in turn could serve to disinterest you from sports classics in general. As a genre of vehicles, SC's will never outspeed or out-turn a super, but the classic supers (think Monroe, Stinger, Z-Type) will keep up with the majority of sports cars. What I've noticed about sports classics is that your success with the vehicles really depends on your driving style and skill at driving in GTA in general. Classic supers all have very unique handling traits that vary dramatically and require attention to be successful with. The Stinger GT infamously loves to fishtail, however its looks are unlike anything else in the game and really embody a lot of details classic super cars IRL are famous for. The sound of the Stinger's engine is super awesome, and additionally I love using its loose rear end to slide around corners by letting go of the gas. This is my favorite sports classic. The Monroe is intensely planted on the ground, and is the fastest and most manageable racer of the pack. It also has rear window louvers which somewhat (though not completely) protect occupants. It's based off the Miura and is pretty cool looking IMO, but doesn't look as rare and timeless as the Stinger GT to me. Some argue that the truly speediest is the Z-Type. I hate its looks, have never upgraded one, and can't comment as to its driving tendencies. TL;DR- Are you bored with driving the cars you already have in the game? Do you love driving in GTA? Is showing off your cars important to you? Do you like cars that are somewhat difficult to drive but quick when mastered? Then go out on a limb and try a cool sports classic. Giantsgiants
Yes, because there are sports classics races. The number of people who own a custom sports classic is higher than, say, those who own a custom sedan or SUV, but a custom sports classic will still give you a pretty big advantage in races. I suggest the Monroe for now. However, there is word that the Z-Type will eventually get un-nerfed. When it does, then the Z-Type will be the best sports classic for racing. RajunKjun
Well ya know you could always do some sport classic races and try out some different ones to form your own opinion. So what if you lose because it isn't upgraded. Its just a test drive. Go find out ya lazy bastard. 2Chains4Bracelets and MONKEYbusinezz5
JakeHorgrove
I have both stinger GT and Monroe. Monroe is the safer pick. It's easy to control and has a cool engine sound. I like the Stinger GT better though. It's more fun to drive and seems a bit faster. It has an equally unique engine sound, and most of the time you will be on only Stinger in a race full of Monroe's. Also I have a Mañana, cuz it's awesome :-) 2Chains4Bracelets

KiTTYReCkless
Monroe is the best for racing atm. But if you're on a budget and style is what you're going for, get a Tornado(preferably a hardtop). Edited June 14, 2014 by KiTTYReCkless
teagle
Sports classic is possibly the best class in game. clean Hardtop Tornado, Mañana, Monroe, Stinger Gt, Roosevelt. Every one of them heavy hitters.
Dr.Rosenthal
As others have said, if you're going for sports classics and want to win, go with the Monroe. It handles great and it's fast also.. As for looks, i prefer the Stinger GT. And, these cars are both super-fast so if you're used to driving fast cars and like it, then you'll like these. The Manana and most other sports classics are slower and while they're nice to cruise around in, they might not be your cup..
MONKEYbusinezz5
I'll probably go for the Monroe.

the nameless
I have a JB700, Stinger GT, Monroe, and have just got rid of a tornado and peyote, I might get a manana. Are they worth it? If you have the money, yes. For Value - Monroe, for racing - Monroe, for looks - Monroe, for sound - Stinger GT.
