In car camera?

We can see working speedometer and rev counter on the trailer. Do you think that NG PC version will have in car camera? Interiors looks much better than those in PS3 and X360 versions.

It is called cockpit view.

Yes. There is no point in showing it in the trailer, making the dials move, making the textures EXTREMELY high res, and making all new car interiors if they weren't putting it in.

If it was only the High textures i'd be inclined to think it's just trailer show-off/PR. i'll recheck the trailer though, if the dials move and so on, it's quite possible they wanted to do this in the first place and was cut from the "last gen" version for performance. Or an actual feature they made for the HD versions.

 

Edit: After re-watching the trailer it does seems like the will implement a cockpit view. Considering the amount of detail they have in the car dashboard, it would be a waste not to, and i imagine it's not a hard feature to implement an additional camera anyway.

W_D's cockpit view was also cut from PS360 versions, and those interiors are even less detailed (by far). So it looks like it's a feature that last gen consoles aren't so comfortable with.

And since R* have always been the masters of details (and seeing it working in the trailer), it is very likely they will finally implement the cockpit view. I'd sure kill for this feature in V.
