JSBOfficial
@ByteCode2014 You are correct. Thanks for pointing that out Sharp eyes. Now I have to find out if thats because Cautious wasn't using the default texture, so it might have been an illusion. I'll look in to it. I kinda looked at it again after I posted, I think his comparison pic is not accurate as he customized it with his own hand paint....And he has eye lashes now. Guest
Hey Almico! I must admit, I was initially surprised seeing the update. Just feeling toning down the wrinkles and textures took away from the initial direction, standardising it more. But after thinking about it for a while, I perfectly understand the changes made. For a frame of reference, I went through photos of rappers from the early 90's and what they look like now. As its a close approximation towards CJ's aging period. And honestly the term 'blacks don't crack' holds amazingly true. And as much as aged wrinkled CJ looked badass, the updated model makes much more sense, not even mention how much it adds towards recognition. Which I believe has pretty much been nailed at this point. Expanding on that, just to experiment I dropped CJ's voice files into audacity and dropped it down a few decibels. Trying for a balance between recognizability and noticeably deeper. But after getting it to a level I was happy with, decided to cross-check between 90's rappers again and realised there honestly wasn't any noticeable drop in pitch. People keep asking you to release a younger CJ version, but I think they don't know how minor the differences will actually be! Guess black just don't crack! PatteDeFruit
Wow. Amazing. Very impressive work!! Respect. I hope R* crew will look your work with attention, and maybe use it for a potential awesome DLC in GTA V? ^^ Can't wait to see final version!! Aleph-Zero
Ok, go there, get payed the minimum, get treated like sh*t and get un-listed Do your job right, don't get fired before the game's release and i see no reason for that. Now, i know how much Rockstar isn't the best place to work, but it's not hell. You sound really butthurt at Rockstar for someone who's visiting a forum about a Rockstar game.
