GTA 5 and stuff we miss from GTA 4

V HoneyBadger V

Massive B Radio and Liberty Rock Radio.

Actually, all of the radio stations. They were so much better.

And the city didn't feel dead half the time.

Cop toggle, friendly fire off, all through the phone.

NRG-900

Buzzard rockets.

Helicopters were actually fun to fly.

All of the buildings we could enter.

The APC

The hair for girls in the game along with the expansions were better than most of the hair and clothing in GTA V. I miss having long black hair just like real life. Also, the gilets and leggings were nice.

The guns.

Choosing the weather.

The random airport carnage.

Having clubs we can actually go into. Last time I checked, LA is full of clubs, and we can only go into one, which is a strip club.

Sultan RS

Super GT

All other car.

The cops weren't all suicidal terminators with laser accuracy.

The cops that had better quotes

The fat cops

The driving physics and damage

The amazing story

The amazing script

The atmosphere

Better physics in general, such as when running over 50 pedestrians or getting drunk, falling off a high ledge, getting hit by a car, etc.

I'll say pretty much almost exactly what I said in another thread. As much as I enjoy playing GTA Online for it's own reasons, I do go back and play GTA IV freemode now and then. I miss the sandbox sessions that forced us to be more creative. I don't know about you guys but I loved picking up guns scattered across the map, the lack of structure and rules (the anarchy), no rankings or hierarchy, no overpowered death machines. If cops were turned off you could have a nice ongoing shootout with other players without the cops getting in everybodys way. No consequences for doing anything.

At least with being killed in GTA IV freemode, there's nothing to loose because there's nothing to own. I guess why that's why it's called Online and not FREEMODE. One's no better than the other, they're just....... different.

I just want more casual stuff to do personally. San Andreas had a lot more than 4 had (or at least that's how it feels).

Inside Track Betting shops.

Casinos.

Burglary Jobs.

Basket Ball/Pool etc

Friend activities/dates with NPCs - always a laugh

HOT COFFEE lol

Also, just to put it out there, It'd be seriously cool if we could buy our own little island off the coast instead of another penthouse in the city. It's not an idea I've thought through properly, I just think it'd be a really cool addition to the online game.

Stuff from Vice City I'd like to see would be that Maze Bank Arena to open so we could do some destruction derby stuff or quad-bike trials or dirt-bike races etc - and win money from it.

To be able to own businesses like the night-club (you can actually get into) or the Cherry Popper's "Ice cream" dealing.

There's still time and potential for GTAO to grow though, so I'm not ruling any of these ideas out for this version, just waiting to see what they bring us...

The Electro Choc radio station. Heck, all of the radio stations.

Also the no-cop sessions. R* could just have these in private-only sessions for no cops.

I feel a GTA 4 was more dense, I actually felt immersed in New York ( especially when driving through Times Square) Gta v seems less dense to me, hopefully next gen capabilities will make it more immersive to me like GTA 4, but then again I can't really speak since I've never visited California ... Maybe things really are smaller there compared to New York.

That's the main thing I miss,

I also miss

Luis

The Hakuchou

Turismo

liberty city/nyc is almost all sky scrapers . Try walking around San andreas/LA. You will hear and see all kinds of crazy stuff from NPC
lol I used to think R* north was just having a field day with satirizing Americans , but after I watched this video

I was surprised / humored to find out they were spot on with Los Angeles xD

#1 - ALL MY FRIENDS! So many friends to game with for years in GTA IV. V, thus far, has managed to drive away more of my friends than it has kept around. I guess this should be expected considering GTA Online was essentially released in Beta.

#2 - COOP!

#3 - TURF WARS!

#4 - OWNING PUSSY ASS HELICOPTER PILOTS!

PoeticWhisper

I too have recently went back to beat GTA IV again. Things I realized were better:

1. Gun Sounds - Though I didn't notice at the time, the gun sounds in 4 had a really nice pop and ring to it. Very loud sounds, I like that.

2. Minus the fact that V had real time bullet holes, IV had much better and more realistic blood, the blood in V looks really blurry.

0_0.jpg

Probably the most blood I ever got out of 1 person. This was kind of a regular thing in IV.

3. The car damage, although V has more "realistic looking" damage when it comes to parts falling off and glass breaking system, IV has much better soft body physics. Hopefully this is fixed in the Xbox One/Ps4/PC versions.

I don't miss anything from that pile of dung GTA 4 besides watching civilians slowly die after being shot. Now they die instantly.

Some of the music, especially the Big Band stuff.

I think they did rain better in GTA 4. You don't get that reflection of the city lights on wet streets in Los Santos.

Bars and bowling alleys (minus Roman calling you up every 3 minutes).

I'm not sure they had it in GTA 4, but I miss being able to blow up a car by shooting at its gas tank.
