I wouldn't be surprised if it takes a year then, lol! Right now, we have 13 matches, 10 in the Opening Round, 2 Semi-Finals, and One Final. With 10 players instead of 5 players, in ONE GROUP and each matching up against each other, we would have 45 matches in the opening round, + 4 quarter finals, 2 semis & one final. So... 52 matches. This is insane! With return matches, we would have damn 90 matches in the opening round! And 97 matches in total. It would take a month, if everybody plays 3 times a day. And i doubt anyone would like to play a whole season, over a year. If we ever get 10 players, we would need to split it in 2 Groups, each with 5 players. Because i've set it to a single set for training, i invited him again, changed it too 3 sets, and GO! He started really well, caught me often, and i wasn't ready at all. But i defended & lost the first set with 4-6 though. Then i put on 'The Humble River' by Puscifer & things went better from there on. I've finally reached my rhythm, and Feurian42 seemed to be too sure. I don't know if he got tired, but i managed to win the second set with 6-1. Sounds clearly, but has been close each single game. Third set, he gave it all, and i gave it all. He woke up, and i refused to get tired. Must've been the longest set of them. However, i edged him with a hard fought 6-3 in the final set. Very hard match, went over 70 minutes, had up 'n downs. Don't know how the final will get even better, but i KNOW, it will be a cruel thing, and the winner definitely deserves something like a One Night Stand with Venus Williams. What is next? FilthyEsquire vs YirbyBond00Y today (?), with the winner facing me, the day after tomorrow (if you have time then) & Feurian42 vs Yura'ndGames. Actually in truth, there were several factors in why I appeared absent from the second set through the beginning if the third. These factors are controllable and will not occur again! Was forced to play NOW, and wasn't at 100% & was called PSYCHO, about 42 times. However, won 6-1 in the first set, and was able to visit the toilet in the second set ( haven't been today ) lost 1 or 2 games in this time, but was totally out after & lost 1-6. YirbyBond00Y Posted June 15, 2014 Share Posted June 15, 2014 (edited) Sorry for reporting late, I had some homework to do.....I had the match with Doug Drealer early this morning, originally starting the 3 game set, I had the lead at 4-2 when I accidentally pushed the right directional button and X at the same time.....therefore forfeiting the game. So to compensate for the lost time, me and him played 1 set matches in a best of 3 to make the game go by quicker. The second time around, my controller crapped out again, quitting when he was up 4-3. On the 3rd and 4th tries, I lost both sets 6-1, 6-3. Therefore, the sets that counted in my loss are 2 one set matches (6-1, 6-3) in a best of 3 since me and him did not want to play another 3 set match. Is this breaking of the rules okay? 0-2...I need to win the next 2 games to really stay in it huh? P.S. I want to murder the guy who had the idea of putting the quit function on the right directional button....Couldn't R* put the quit button on the R/L buttons?
