Whats with all the love for the Russian aircraft. Seriously..... Someone said that the Russian T50 PAK FA is ahead of the F22. Well the F22 program is done for. After Russia and China somehow just happened to copy it the F22 was finished. They are making the rest of the order and done making them. Perhaps they are already done making them, I don't recall. They are making F35s still I believe.

 

Here is the kicker though. All these countries are copying both those planes, but it is pointless. The F22 and F35 replacements are already in the works. There is nothing in the world that comes close to our next gen....hell our F-35s are using "Gundam" technology. To those who don't know what that is... basically the pilot can "look through the plane" and see around him.

 

I am no "expert" on aircraft, but I know a thing or two...and the way I see things, we will have the air superiority fighter for at least the next 60+ years. Hell we don't even need a better aircraft...the weaponry alone is so far superior to anything else as it stands.

 

Note: You have got to be kidding me on the wannabe F-15, Mig-31's...... If they put one of those in the game I would break my disc, sh!t in a bag and send it to who ever made the first suggestion.

Pretty sure it isn't. It looks based on a British Centurion. Pretty much a Abrams copy. In fact the one ingame looks close to the Abrams anyways.

The WIKI says it is based on a German Leopard 2a3. I am looking at a bunch of pictures of modern tanks from multiple countries, even ones not we have not listed. I personally don't feel strong enough about any of these to say it is or isn't anything for sure.

Firstly, it's a high altitude, reconnaissance, 'somewhat-stealth' aircraft capable of mach 3+. None of what I've just said could be replicated in the game on any level.

I'd rather have an F-35B JSF (S/VTOL) with dumbfire rockets and perhaps explosive round-firing guns.

Cargobob is a mix of a Sikorsky and a Russian Heli..I forget it's name though. It's not the Chinook.

I'm almost sure it's a cross of the CH/MH-53 Stallion/ Pave Low and the CH-47 Chinook.

I thought both aircraft were developed around the same time, in around the late 70's. The Su-27 is more commonly associated with the Pugachev's Cobra as it apparently was the first aircraft to demonstrate the maneuver, but if the MiG-29 was able to pull it off first, I didn't know that. Neat.

First the whole idea of a 1v1 comparison with aircraft is ridiculous now, aircraft don't dogfight alone anymore and any comparison has to to include the entire system. Satellite data links, are more important than aircraft performance in the modern air warfare.

 

Range is meaningless to US fighters, they all have unlimited range with refueling. The US controls the sky wherever it chooses, it refuels with impunity.

Why didnt you include RCS? The Flaptor is closer to an F35 than a Raptor.

 

Until the Ruski begins developing its own technology, instead of relying on copying US, they will continue to be a generation behind.

So... where does your research come from?

 

First of all, you have to keep in mind that the Pak FA is not even a production aircraft so far... Also, the F-22 has better stealth capabilities, just look at the engines of the T-50.

2 tons lighter - well, you also have to compare the thrust/weight ratio. To bored to look it up right now, but simply stating it is 2 tons lighter doesn't mean sh*t

50% faster? wut? That means it could almost go 3700 km/h. Also, I do not believe there are ANY official specifications of the aircraft. The F-22... maybe. The Pak FA? Nope.

same goes for the rest... where did you get the facts from? did you get the original fact sheets from Lockheed Martin and Sukhoi? Fact is, nobody really knows the true abilities of these planes, but like jcph3 said... It doesn't come down to the fighter, but the whole organization... I believe the US is far more capable of obtaining air superiority with their AWACS and refueling aircraft.
