Do you think that the SR-71 should be added to GTA online?

Voted 'no', simply because I can't imagine any use for it implementable in-game other than being 'another medium-large jet like the Luxor', albeit with a military-esque look and lacking the passenger capacity.

 

Something like a VTOL (Harrier/Hydra, F-35 Lightning), or even a tilt-rotor like the Osprey would be a better idea (IMO), simply by adding something different to the aircraft line-up in terms of function.

Maybe SR-71 is too big for GTAO but there are smaller planes which has the same style. For example Mig-31.

Mig-31 is a large fighter/interceptor which has extreme speed and altitude. Also Mig-31 looks cool. A little version of a SR-71 with same abilities, it can be modeled nearly same as the real one and respray it with NATO-US Army type colors then add it in GTAO with a GTA style specific name.

Russian planes are beautiful too bad it's a game set in America so it makes absolutely no sense in adding Soviet built fighter planes

How stupid are you dude? since when bombers were as small as that? The bombers are at least as big as the Jet (747) in GTA V. Some are even bigger. The SR-71 are nowhere to be as big.

Reconnaissance plane in GTA, what are you gonna do with a Cold War era plane that goes Mach 4 & only has cameras lol. This will only work if the map was 80x bigger lol.

 

Anyway, if Rockstar adds planes but not the Hydra.. This plane then. MiG 29 or GTFO.

 

Mig-29 is the same thing with GTAV's Laser fighter jet. Adding the same style plane is unnecessary.

 

But Mig-31 is a anti bomber and missile interceptor. İt is nearly fast as a SR-71!! İt is orginal and cool. İt is well armored and well armed. The only problem is, Mig-31 is a Soviet-Russian bloc plane and GTA V sets in USA but it is a game, just paint Mig-31 like a American jet and add it into the game.

 

Edit Extra İnformation: Mig-31's max speed is 3.000 kilometers. Mig-31 is the best mechanic style plane also the best 4.Generation plane in the World. This plane is very expensive and Soviet Union prefered Su-27 Flanker because it is cheaper.

Whats with all the love for the Russian aircraft. Seriously..... Someone said that the Russian T50 PAK FA is ahead of the F22. Well the F22 program is done for. After Russia and China somehow just happened to copy it the F22 was finished. They are making the rest of the order and done making them. Perhaps they are already done making them, I don't recall. They are making F35s still I believe.

 

Here is the kicker though. All these countries are copying both those planes, but it is pointless. The F22 and F35 replacements are already in the works. There is nothing in the world that comes close to our next gen....hell our F-35s are using "Gundam" technology. To those who don't know what that is... basically the pilot can "look through the plane" and see around him.

 

I am no "expert" on aircraft, but I know a thing or two...and the way I see things, we will have the air superiority fighter for at least the next 60+ years. Hell we don't even need a better aircraft...the weaponry alone is so far superior to anything else as it stands.

 

Note: You have got to be kidding me on the wannabe F-15, Mig-31's...... If they put one of those in the game I would break my disc, sh!t in a bag and send it to who ever made the first suggestion.

Pretty sure it isn't. It looks based on a British Centurion. Pretty much a Abrams copy. In fact the one ingame looks close to the Abrams anyways.

You can scrap the Chinese J-20 and J-31, that's true... I wouldn't underestimate the Pak Fa though. Then again, like you said, it's not just the plane but also radar and weaponry and unless it comes to a 1vs1 dog fight, I believe the F-22 has the upper hand. Not to mention that the Pak Fa has quite a few "unstealthy" parts.

I do have doubt, but mainly because it doesn't just look like only 1 tank in general. Heck there are so many variations of each tank, that it could almost be any one of them. What I am saying is, with this I don't have a stance to agree or disagree.

 

Oh as far as the Chinese aircraft go...they had some great ideas. ie. Touch screens, etc. Ya gimmicks that doubtfully help.

 

I also don't underestimate the T50. Of course it is one of the best in the world. It just doesn't match up to the likes of an F22. I do wonder though, how much shared or stolen technology is each of them. It's like... America is like "hey look at our new plane"....1 week later Russia has one and a week after that China has one too.
