It was probably a time zone thing. It was 31st in the UK and 30th in the USA when you made your account.

Hell yes!! There was a "airplane dlc thread" a few weeks ago and this was the first plane that came to mind. Here is what I would like to see from it if they did implement it.

 

1. Faster top speed than the lazer

2. Ability to break through the current altitude limit.

3. Pegasus delivered

4. Stealth mode once above the current altitude limit.

5. No stealth mode if you have a bounty on you.

6. Not available anywhere except an exclusive bunker at Ft Zancudo (highly defended) or purchased from Warstock

7. More of a defensive vehicle than a offensive. No weapons, surveillance camera accessed by co-pilot.

A lot of you say it would be pointless to have this as unarmed, but not if you're doing free roam deathmatches w/ your crew.

8. If it would be an armed jet, it could be a loaded with laser designated bombs, meaning a team mate on the ground would have to lazer designate a target and hold that laser on the target until the bomb hit.

9. Teammate would have to purchase the laser sight from ammunation

10. No exiting plane when above the current altitude. If you do you suffocate because the air is to thin.

The top speed could be scaled down the way the Lazer top speed is. In real life it would take the F-16c fighting falcon about 14 seconds to fly from the north end of the map to the south end. I actually did the math assuming that the map is 7 miles long. The SR-71 would take roughly 7 seconds at topspeed (mach 4)

We would spy on other players... say someone has killed a friend of yours multiple times then goes speeding off. You could stealthily stalk them until bam!!! surprise attack coordinated with other crew members or friends.

I would use it to fly above the game's regular max altitude for jet planes. And troll Laser pilots because they won't be able to hit me. And i just like these kind of planes in general.

Speed cap is removed from planes after 10 minutes of flying though.... still not sure exactly why they cap it for 10 min, only to remove the cap after being 10 minutes in the air, and capping it after 10 minutes of being de-capped.

That is silly... well I still don't see them allowing a Blackbird to go full speed haha. Would be cool if they did though.

Just nerf the speed. An F-16C (Lazer) is super fast that it could cut through the in-game map in minutes. Same here.

Nice, but at Mach 3.5 it will cross the map in 3 seconds and cause sever lack, so I voted no.

At mach 4, the SR-71 would cross the map from North to South in roughly 7 seconds. Map is about 7 miles long, Mach 4 is close to a mile per second. However, as I've said before, the F-16C Fighting Falcon aka The Lazer has a top speed of Mach 2 meaining it should only take 14 seconds to cross the map north to south but we know it can't do that so the speed must be scaled down. Same thing we could do the SR-71.

If rockstar brings new planes to the game, i hope its a stealth-fighter. Invisible on radar until its close to a player. And/or a plane that can take off like a chopper, straight up in the air.

I was disappointed at how slow the jet was in game. In the first trailer it was much faster, although that was the hydra. Hopefully the speed cap is removed on next gen and pc, although in not sure if better hardware makes a difference or if it's too do with internet connections.

We need an F-22 Raptor/F-35 in Grand Theft Auto V. What we also need, is a bomber plane which has the ability to drop bombs with a restricted use so it isn't overpowered, but I doubt this will happen. The Apache helicopter, however, that is something which COULD possibly be introduced.
