I feel that with the knowledge of the PS4 version being released, they threw out a sh*tty product (ps3) that was unfinished because people would still buy it.

Then, appear as if they made huge improvements with the newer version, when really those issues should have never existed. For example, I don't remember there being a freezing/timing out issue up until the PS4 announcment. That's fishy af.

Why do people call the PORT of GTA V that is coming to PS4/XBox One/PC "next-gen"??

Same reason they call "current gen" "next gen", seems to be because if they're still on "last gen" then "current gen" is still "next gen" to them. Not saying I agree, but that seem to be the thought process.

 

I mean they're acting like it's a next-gen game when it's just a port with the graphics that they had to dumb down for the XBox 360 DVD version (also done to the PS3 for "equality")

I don't get why people are complaining. Nobody got screwed over as it was meant to be a ps3/360 game. If you really want to go down and trade it in to gamestop. I traded in my ps3 and a few games for PS4 and they have me $28 for Gta 5 and that's pretty good figuring I had it for 9 months.
