Stopped playing Gta since i saw the PS4 trailer.

Why do people call the PORT of GTA V that is coming to PS4/XBox One/PC "next-gen"??

Same reason they call "current gen" "next gen", seems to be because if they're still on "last gen" then "current gen" is still "next gen" to them. Not saying I agree, but that seem to be the thought process.

 

OP, you remind me of all those people on the sims forums who stopped playing The Sims 3, after they saw the commercial for The Sims 4.

 

Quitting GTA Online simply because you're waiting for next gen is a stupid idea IMO. Why sit sound twiddling your thumbs for three months? It's not like next gen GTA is gonna be THAT different.

 

 

im not quit playing games or anything. thanks to ps plus i have a huge backlog. i was a little addicted to gta o i played almost 2hours every day.

now i stopped and will be back on ps4 with the new heist and new updates. i hope it will feel like a new game but we will see.

Sounds to me like you've just got bored with it after playing it to death, which many of us have. I too have PS+ and a ton of games to play that I haven't even touched. I have literally not played a single other game since September, and that's unheard of for me in many, many years of gaming. I've still not finished Max Payne 3, Assassin's Creed III and a couple of others that I was close to finishing. I just put them down and never picked them back up again.

 

In a way it would probably be really refreshing to stop playing GTA for a while.

yeah i was kind of bored week after high life and with all my garages full. but i still had trouble not to play it because i still had lots of fun with friends and i think its the best game yet. so now that R* confirmed it for the ps4/pc its easier not to play anymore because i think i can better wait till it comes to ps4 and then continue to play with i hope enough new content (heist, new missions, updates like high life and such) aside from the ps3->ps4 graphics/performance update. just like im waiting for the last of us to release on ps4 to replaying it and play the dlc for the first time.

I feel that with the knowledge of the PS4 version being released, they threw out a sh*tty product (ps3) that was unfinished because people would still buy it.

Then, appear as if they made huge improvements with the newer version, when really those issues should have never existed. For example, I NEVER had a freezing/timing out issue up until the PS4 announcment. That's fishy af.

f*cking money whores R*. Definitely not rebuying this junk.
