Trouble with going back into Story mode

The title sais it all.

I don't know, what happened, maybe the last maintenance did something wrong (but the forum would be full of such topics already).

First things first.

I tried the SP to MP glitch, and every time it went wrong. As I try to change to either of the Story mode trio, or forcing Story mode wia signing out of PSN while going to PS Store (or already in the Store), every time I got the black screen and eternal loading. No Story mode after all. It's definitely not a corrupted save, because the first time it loads (at the start of the game), but once I go into online, even Invite Only works fine, I can't go back there into Story mode.

Try uninstalling and then re-installing the game data to see if it fixes it. (Obviously don't touch the save data, just the game data)

So I did the re-install thing (deleted the install data and re-installed the game anew), but it didn't help. Only the save file loads fine at the start of the game, that's the only time I can play Story mode, after I go online, there's nothing to do to get back. Not wia the character wheel, nor wia the "Go Offline" button in the start/pause menu. Eternal loading.

Hi Levianne, please could you clarify:

 

Are you able to load Story Mode from turning on your console (without going into Online)? Do you notice anything unusual if you do this?

 

Or is your issue solely with switching from Online gameplay to Story Mode without turning off your console?
