oCrapaCreeper
It was right there, before our very eyes as a few strings in the Steam database! Of course we could not have known until Steam changed the name. This probably further supports that the PC version was indeed developed alongside, and is not simply a port. It existed the whole time as those leaked change logs suggested.Source: http://steamdb.info/app/271590/history/ Edited June 12, 2014 by oCrapaCreeper theGTAking101

Xerukal
Not a surprise. Loads of games are on Steam for months upon months and sometimes even a year or two before public reveal. Makes extra sense for V, when you think about it. Probably more testing being done for what's hopefully going to be successful cooperation between the Rockstar Games Social Club and Steam. aerhx
They probably had it in the database to debug the steam version. As they need to have an ID for the steam API to work.

CheesusChrist
I think there were already rumors about that before, but of course there was no way of proving it.

Sometimes it's a codename and sometimes there's no name at all.
