When I first saw the reveal trailer for PC/NG I didn't think much of it, but now I definitely see the differences. MonsterCockDude Posted June 12, 2014 Share Posted June 12, 2014 What's crazy is that before I got my PS4 when I played GTA V on the PS3 I was very impressed by it and considered it the most technologically impressive video game I had ever played before, and thought it looked great.Looking at the graphics compared to the PS4 version is like looking at an N64 game or something.Look at the difference in details and quality. Now with better hardware and an extra year of development time, R* doesn't really have an excuse to not put in some of the cut features that were meant to be in the game originally or to fix things or change things to be better then they were in other games they made ( such as the damage system or car handling ) as well. And wow it really does showcase the difference between the two gens, even if the both look great its crazy what R* achieved on 360/ps3 Can't wait to see ps4/PC. nice job for posting! stobe187 Posted June 12, 2014 Share Posted June 12, 2014 As a testament to just how incredible Rockstar managed to have the x360/ps3 look the trailer isn't even THAT mind-blowing if you only glance at it quickly. It's insane how much R* achieved with 510Mb of RAM. If you only added a higher resolution to the game, it would look stellar. And then think about the fact that we are getting new wildlife, more vegetation, more cars and NPCs.....it's gonna be great. The next-gen version of V will be the first time that us "console peasants" will get to enjoy a GTA game as the "PC neckbeards" have always enjoyed theirs. Good times! Not trying to sound rude or act like a graphics whore, but that indeed is laughable. Is that how it actually is in all the cars in last-gen consoles? With this, I want to say Rockstar had done an amazing job with GTA V in 8 year old hardware. We gotta appreciate their effort and hardwork. I will finally be able to walk around Los Santos and enjoy the sights, as opposed to enjoying the aliasing that my current version of the game brings me!
