di0nislaw
If you want to explore map before doing any mission go to Online. I hope GTAO will be ready with singleplayer mode.

Anda7x
We're probably in the minority here but whatever What is the very first thing you're gonna do when you get to play GTA V? I already know what I'm gonna do - before I get started with the storyline I'm gonna go explore the wonderful map, then go to the top of Mount Chilliad and watch Los Santos from up there. This is going to be amazing. Just rob a car, take a drive around the city and then do first mission. You must make the prologue first, after this you can "rob a car" and roll around the city Edited September 9, 2014 by Avenged Sevenfold
Bolcksta
Well my friend hasn't touched GTA V at all, and I still remember how he told me that he was going to wait off until the PC Version comes out, and now here we are waiting for the release. My friend is very excited and said that he is going to hit up GTA:Online first thing, although I did advise him to try out the story first, but he disregarded that and said f*ck it GTA:Online is what matters, and to be honest I agree with him. Nebulus
Probably just drive around the city, also checking how it works in my middle-low rig, see if there's any annoying pop in and stuff like that since I've been getting a lot of pop in or textures that take long to load in Dead Rising
anobelp
Just saw 3-4 videos last year ago of GTAV. So its new for me. Drive and feel the city
blues3531
For people that haven't played it just don't hype it to the moon. I played it on PS3 and will be buying it again for PC on day one and I'm sure it will be well worth the wait and even more amazing but I remember how pumped for GTA5 I was last year and then let down by a lot of really bad design decisions that effect things you'd think you'd be able to do or have taken for granted. Performer
I'll drive around and do 1 or 2 missions and then check the video editor out... And frankly I will be dissapointed and look over to the source filmmaker which is the best video game editor out there!

fefenc
Must be hard to avoid spoilers for so long. I played it so I don't count but would love to see Total Biscuit's WTF is GTA V. Think he has been holding out for a PC release. I know that feel, it was hard to not get GTA V spoilers, luckily I only know almost nothing about the 3 endings and that Trevor kills Johnny Edited September 9, 2014 by fefenc
the.metal
To be honest I don't even know what I'm gonna do first, there are so many cool things to do that I won't know what to start with...I think I will just sit in front of the screen like this: Edited September 12, 2014 by the.metal
AccountNoLongerUsed
I'll do the story first. Sadly, and thanks to some consoles peasants a*sholes, I've been spoiled the end of the game (even though it has different ones) a few time. That is console gamer's fault.....how? If you are gonna blame anyone blame R*, they are the ones who didnt release it on PC at launch. Its not our fault console gaming is a bigger market. Im really sick of PC elitists. Believe it or not, most gamers dont want or have time to care about things like if they have enough RAM or if they have the right graphics card, they just wanna play their f*cking games. Consoles allow them to do that. So stop being so self important, because if PC was so good and perfect you wouldnt be using words like "console peasants" or "pc master race hur dur" to make yourself feel better. Sorry about my rant. More related, after completing "Franklin And Lamar".....just do whatever suits your needs. In fact if you are lazy, just fail the mission three times on purpose and skip it. Kostadinoff
I will do the first mission, then hang around, go to a strip club, to the beach, to the safe house, post a status on Facebook... And yeah... :
j7n
I won't probably ever play it due to the astronomical system requirements. But never say never. In the event that I do play it, I will take a car and just drive around the whole of unlocked part of map to learn the layout of it, to have an advantage while doing missions. But before that, I think I'll drive slowly and observe AI road users to see if they obey the rules and behave reasonably. Los Santos has become synonymous with crazy highways with rubberbanded speed. I will expect drivers to behave at least as well as in Euro Truck Simulator. By then I will have hit a car already, and will try to run over a police man to see how hard it is to escape. SNIT01
Do the story line and let that chauffeur me around and help me explore the finer bits of the map slowly but surely. I might explore the city a little bit, and I want to fly a plane for the first time since GTA SA but I likely wouldn't leave the airport/hood area until the story takes me away to the next location. Geeteeaifive
I got bad news for you guys, you are pretty much forced to do a mission before being allowed to freeroam Well you we're involved in some kind of mission on every gta to date before being allowed to free roam.
