Has anyone actually gotten banned for custom emblems?

I know that if you try to publish a custom crew emblem, you get a message with a threat that your account could be banned. But has anyone actually gotten banned or action taken against their account for trying to use custom emblems?

 

If people actually have gotten banned for custom emblem exploits, do you think the punishment fit the crime?

I wouldnt worry about it,you would be unlucky if they even notice it to remove it, i dont think they would go to the effort of punishing anyone for this exploit, worst case scenario you could get a dunce hat for a few days maybe but even thats unlikely

I know for sure that those who modded in obscene/graphic/copyrighted photo's or graphics, got the content taken down and a warning message from R* ... However those who modded in their own (non-offensive) personal work, R* seems to be perfectly fine with. I've noticed several times on the Newswire, them drawing attention to certain crews that have new video's or recruiting efforts, where they clearly have modded in logos!

 

So to answer your question, no... I've never heard of anyone getting banned for a modded-in logo.

Rockstar didn't ban modded emblems they removed the ability to upload any new modded emblems. Anything old that doesn't violate the rules is simply grandfathered in.
