Micro pigs are a breed of genetic modified pigs.and developed for medical research. It happened the first time in Europe before, introducing this type of breed to the United Sates in the 1980's. Scientist were studying these genetically modified animals all over the world. However, the medical research was used for testing the age, toxicology, and pharmacology.

 

What does genetic modified mean?

 

Genetic modified means that is the organism is being alternated from another into a change in just one or plus of it's own characteristic.

 

 

For example: GMO food is a man-made food used for genetically engineered food brand with mixed pesticide chemicals.

The Akita Dog is also known on Richard Gere's movie called "Haichi".

 

 

Haichi: A Dog's Tale (2009), was based on a true story of the Akita in the country of Japan, the akita dog was named Hachiko. This movie was directed by Lasse Haallstrom, who remakes the 1987 japanese version of the movie Hachikō Monogatari "ハチ公物語"

This means "The Tale of Hachiko". This story was by a Japanese film director Kaneto Shindo.

Starring Richard Gere playing the role of the main character Professor Parker Wilson and the abandoned Akita Inu Dog named Hachiko.

That time was during the 1920's until Hachiko's death in March 8th, 1935. Hachiko was found in the streets of shibuya, Tokyo.

 

In 2011, Scientist planned to investigate the cause of Hachiko's death and the studies expose that Hachiko had terminal cancer and Dirofilaria immitis.
