Do you think R* will offer a Collector's Edition again for the rel

I've been curious about this. Maybe some of us who have missed their chance at the CE DLC would now be takers for the fancied-up edition at second chance.

 

Do you think it is likely that Rockstar will release the CE again alongside the PS4 and X1 releases? If they did, would you buy it this time around?

There will be no collector's edition for new gen.

 

What will happen is, before new gen is released, the collector's edition will be made available to the public in a paid DLC from the store. This is roughly a year after the release of GTA and has happened with all previous games R* developed.

 

When new gen GTA is released, the CE will be available to those players from the store as a paid DLC.

 

There is no point in making a collector's edition for PS4, we could possibly see a game of the year edition released which includes all paid DLC content included. This happened with RDR and GTA will most likely follow these steps. Of course the game of the year edition will cost a bit more than the normal copy of GTA but will include the title updates we received on XB and PS3.

I'm confident those who purchased the CE prior to the new gen release get to keep their content.

DLC is locked to whatever account you used it on, so the DLC licensing will just transfer with your account to whatever platform you decide to play on and you just have to redownload it to the system.

I think/hope they will release it as DLC or it will come in the game by default.

I think it will be part of the game already for everyone as all the dlc so far will be aswell it seems reasonable they would add the CE vehicles and weapons in with next gen anyway
