Hard to get in a game

I'm sure countless people have made these complaints but I need to get them off my chest and see if anyone knows any solutions

 

- When you join a game from 'free mode', it may or may not send invites to the friends you're trying to invite. You can't send an invite from the friends list for whatever reason, so if they didn't get the invite the game sent, you're screwed

 

- Hosts have no patience. I join a game and invite people to join-- why there's no lobby like other games such as CoD is beyond me-- and the host starts a game with ~5 people and 7 spots open before my friends can join.

 

- In the rare instance that you get a full game, people quit after one game because they don't get their way with the next game, everyone randomly disconnects (it says they quit), or the next game never loads and you have to dashboard.

 

I played for about 3 hours tonight and only once was able to get multiple games in a row (3) without having to quit and join a new one. Between all the searching and quitting because games were started without my friends, I got about 80 minutes of actual playing in. The rest was spent searching for games or sitting in lobbies.

 

I love GTA and actually really enjoy the game modes that they've implemented on GTA Online. Some of the gameplay hasn't lived up to the hype, but if they could just fix these simple issues and make it easier to get in a good game, they'd have something special.

You could always host a game and wait as long as you want for your friends. When you host the game you can then access the friends menu and pick wich ones you wanna invite. If you set it to ''closed'' only the people you invite will be able to join.

Note to OP - It is difficult to get into a game.

 

I'm glad he didn't use the title "Hard to enter a game". That would have been quite an ambiguous title.
