Does it look better than Watch_Dogs?

From what I've seen of the trailer, the game is an enormous leap over last gen's GTA V visuals, but does it look more impressive than Watch_Dogs on PS4/XB1?

GTA V on PS3/360 has better lighting than current gen WD which is pretty amazing. WD looks bland and washed out at times. I will say WD looks pretty crisp but still doesn't make up for the lighting.

 

This remaster of V (From what we have seen so far) will imo blow WD current gen out of the water.

V by far. I like WD's rain and night effect but V looks overly top amazing in every way.

I've got Watchdogs on the PS4 and it does have a washed out feel to it but the frame rate is solid. The NPCs have the best AI and the make the city feel more alive compared with GTA V.

 

But GTA V on the PC, Xbox1 and PS4 looks far more impressive. There seems to be more vehicles on screen compared with Watchdogs and GTA V on the PS3 and Xbox360. So I cant wait to get back to San Andreas.

Graphically the PS4/XB1 Versions of Watch_Dogs are a bit better than Last-Gen versions (PS3/XB360) of V apart from that LG versions of V is Superior than Watch_Dogs in everyways and with that said,the NG Remake of V just make WD look like a complete joke...

So far from what we've seen, Watch_Dogs blows GTA V out of the trash during night time, especially when raining.

 

GTA V looks better during day time, especially the newly added details.

Nothing beats the sea of GTA V. The water simulation has been done so neat. The reflections in the water. It is absolutely gorgeous.
Sometimes I just stand still partially in the Alamo sea when the sun comes up and it is absolutely beautiful.

As someone said above, Watch Dogs looks great at night, when it's raining.

 

I've just completed Watch Dogs on PS4. To me, V looks better on PS3 than Watch Dogs looks on PS4. Sure, the graphics on PS4 have an edge on fidelity and stuff, but V just looks better, on an older console. Perhaps it's the environment. My GF was watching me play a few nights back and she said WD looks grim, whereas, and these are her actual words:

 

"Los Santos is just beautiful. Even the industrial areas, it just feels more realistic and there's a beauty in it. You should play GTA again, it's better than this stupid game"

The PS4 version of V will be 1080p, whilst the PS4 version of WD is 900p.

WD is still a good game, but it's not as good as GTAV.

 

As for last gen, V has better weather, and WD has better buildings, IMO.

LS in PS4/X1/PC looks just as alive, if not more alive, as Chicago in Watch Dogs and that is without any hacking sort of stuff.

I think GTA V for NG/PC was developed for each platform just as it was made for PS3/360 IMO.

If you go to the countryside on Watch Dogs (next gen and PC) and compare it to the GTA V next gen countryside... Yeah. The trees WD has are the ones we have on GTA V last-gen basically.

Unless your computer is an absolute monster, WD looks about as good as GTA V on the X360. Same could be said about how it looks on the PS4 and XBO, the difference probably being higher resolution textures only. I've been playing on my brother's machine on medium settings (setting your textures higher than medium, which is the lowest possible option lol, causes microstuttering and split second freezes every now and then), a PC that can run pretty much everything else maxed, and it doesn't look that amazing. Read any decent reviews of the game, too - they say basically the same thing.

 

I'm pretty sure the GTA V Remastered will run on this machine at high settings with a stable framerate, as Max Payne 3 did on the highest possible settings, because Rockstar maybe optimized the game properly this time. GTA IV still has sh*tty frame drops on pretty much any computer due to the way it's coded, but since MP3 and LA Noire had no such problem it is very likely a good time to be a PC gamer this time around.

GTA V obviously. It has majestic weather effects like when sun is going down. This plus well designed locations that have many similarities with their real counterparts. Also GTA has nice little details that just punches Watch Dogs straight into it's nuts knocking it over. Needless to say I like more Rockstar's creation of Los Angeles capturing the atmosphere of that place rather than Ubisoft take on Chicago in near future. The only thing that game does better are animations but 5 is keeping up not too far behind.

 

Oh, and to examine graphics by how many pixels and frames game gives is stupid. It's like comparing lwo cars only by their front bumpers and ignoring the rest. But in next few months I guess even these elements will be dominated by "nextgen" GTA V. Mark my words.
