Guys they won't delay the game.. They did it.. Just too many times, one more and they will lost much money. They don't want it so the april 14 is hardly confirmed.

Remember the preorder tiers? If they choose to delay the game, they could just do another tier with less in game money.

But if this was in their plans all along, why would they go out of their way to push twitter marketing on a pre-order tier that's about to be rendered useless by another date change? Last minute reminders are last minute reminders.

@Trigie: OK, everything I'm about to post is circumstantial and I agree
that each of these things alone wouldn't mean much however they've all
happened within the last 5 days and their sum total equates to the chances
of another delay being very very small. So here goes.
1) On Sunday GTA Vs SteamDB page was updated with additional info which
was previously missing, some of it was previoysly listed as 'to be added
when the game is completed'.
2) On Monday pictures started to emerge of GTA V Steam Gift cards,
so far there's been at least 2 different pictures from 2 different sources.
3) On Tuesday & Wednesday users who'd pre purchased V from online retailers
noticed the release date was added to their sales receipts.
4) On Wednesday night all the final GTA V tier 1, 2 & 3 App IDs from all
the global regions were added to Vs SteamDB page.
5) Shortly after the SteamDB update on Wednesday users started to report
that entering the URL 'steam://install/271590' into their browsers caused
the GTA V download page to appear, something which before hand didn't work.
note - some users claim the URL did not work before Wednesdays SteamDB update
while others claim it did work. Possibly related to different IDs for different
tiers and regions?All this info together gives a solid indication that R finalised
the code for V at some point late last week, added the missing info to SteamDB
over the weekend, uploaded the final game files to Valves content servers early
this week then added the final App IDs and linked them to the files on Wednesday
night.
As I say, nothing here is or even can be confirmed but I think you'll agree
the evidence suggest April 14th will be release day.

You'd think with such a powerful computer you'd be able to follow basic things, here's a timeline of what's just happened:

 

- PC Version is Ready, Rockstar send out the Downgrade Patch to PS4/XBO versions.

 

- People notice this and start to make videos, people have coined on about this tactic

 

- Threads are created here about the issue

 

- NeoGAF users pick up on this, and demand a response from Rockstar Games and send it off to News Websites

 

- Rockstar notice their plan has been rumbled and quickly patch the console versions back to how they were (oh look at that, performance hasn't changed either, amazing isn't it)

 

The only thing changed here is Rockstar pushing out the "fix" asap instead of holding it back until the PC version has been out for a week or so, the PC version is still ready to go at this point, just Rockstar's plan of manipulating the difference to make their work seem more impressive is ruined.

Use your head. If there was a shift in date, the deadline for the pre-order would be pushed back as well. They are actually doing the complete opposite here by reminding us that the pre-purchase deadline remains the same, and that it will end very soon.

A friend from Ukraine said that price for GTA 5 in Steam increased from $40 to $60. Gaben hate UA or what? Even $40 - it's a very serious amount at the current situation in the country. Many people have a the monthly salary less than $100.
