I just came up with something. Maybe they updated that Shetland Pony package with a final build of game (with this one difference that is contains some tools especially for testing). Even released game can have a special build only for tests .

 

I came up with that yesterday....

 

My thought is that since the released game will change so much as new material is added, the Shetland Pony build has always been a 'reference build' for testing, comparison and evaluation of changes. Also, it is a store of the base code so they could start again in the event of a problem with a code section.

 

During the testing, it was kept as a Beta 1 build for reference and yesterday it got updated to a 1.0 Build, ie, the Gold version....

 

It will only be updated on major updates from now on, ie, SP DLC content release patches and the like, otherwise it will be left alone as a reference for more comparison from now on.

But what if that means that this was the final package of the game and they updated it on Steam ? Why would they put "this package is in store" there all of a sudden ? It's been there for months obviously.

 

I think these are the final stages, April 14-th is real.

Maybe they'll say something tomorrow? Or does it have to be a Tuesday?

 

Any day except for weekends. Tuesday is only people's assumptions, because they usualy do so, but it's not a rule since the last couple of PC news were posted on Friday

That's the beauty of speculation, we don't have to base it on anything, and we can use anything as "evidence" to support out claims!

it meant -nothing =steam version is still w.i.p and it will be w.i.p forever or as long as R will support and updating steam game build

If they could delay it back in January*, they can do anything at any time, that's why the whole PC community is on edge...

 

*Release date was Jan 27th, delay was announced on Jan 13th, merely 2 weeks before release

I've seen it for instance yesterday. It's just probably a feature added to this website after the last layout change. This sign just inform you that this particular package is available to purchase in store.

I'll trust this, but only because you say so, given the abundant amount of evidence you've put forward, as well as R*'s track record of never delaying their games.

That's my bad . I thought it was supposed to be there because there was a pre-purchase option since January. I just sometimes post something without thinking about it .
