  1. 1. When will the preorder option on steam be available for GTA V PC?

I might have to disagree with that. Visually, it's better than IV, but all cars got ridiculously hard body that barely dents. Cars in IV... well they felt like cars instead of titanium toys in V.

In IV vehicles were too malleable IMHO. GTA V makes it seems more rigid for sure, but in a good way. Un-armoured vehicles can get bashed up pretty easily TBH.

.... not really. The perfect one would be a mix between IV and V.

Agreed, car deformation like iv, with the panels and wheels and bumpers coming off in gta v would be fcking epic!

How did they manage to f*ck up the single player so much? Makes me very nervous about PC launch. If huge bugs like no car dmg slipper through their QA what kind of bugs can we expect on PC launch?!

Elaborate on how they f**ked up the Single Player again? 'cause it's Online that always has problems at start (and afterwards, lulz).

"No car damage" - no, please, stop. They stopped the roof and door panels from deforming because it would clip the player through in extreme cases (like in Last Gen, not that anyone cared really), and that would be awkward for First Person and the working dashboard.

All other damage still exists, panels flying off, entire wheels getting dislodged off the car in an extreme collision, etc. Damage in V (LG and CG) is waaay better than IV's, sucks that people just make these false facts like "it's worse than IV's" hurr-durr :/

Single Player is visually better on consoles, as more props and world details (and some lighting effects) are 'enabled,' which are all absent for Online. The only thing I would say Single Player needs is the insurance system from Online and Lester's Services at this point.

After the heist update all vehicle deformation in single player is disabled, there is a bugwith opening emails on your phone which causes the phone to glitch out and become stuck on your screen, vehicles that you previously bought disappeared from your garages. All of that happened to single player after the heist update, did i elaborate enough?

Interesting I been playing all day and not one of these things happened to me. All SP vehicles are there not that I care because like 55 000 000 000 but still it will be fixed no need to worry

No complaints from me :D

Some one like Killatomate (he made the more damageable vehicles and handling mod right?) could just ramp up the de-formability factor and we should be good.

No doubt it will be modded pretty quick....

I would love to see 'true' damage as well, that would be awesome for online rp servers. I would aim for a job as tow truck driver and go hauling wrecks for scrap or repair. :)

custom servers? so sad but just forget abt it, that's servers will be no ranks

only this kind or illegal will be support mods

Rockstar no longer gives freedom in ''multuplayer'' mode

they recived so much money from microtransactions

they earn money in online that because all dlc content, all for free

crazy gta 4 multiplayer era has ended now

yeah for singleplayer

now lets think

gta online and gta v use same folder files for both modes? (same derectories, same files)

i don't know how it will be work, if R not add mods support to engine files architecture

prob they will ban in online everyone else who use the mods or they put this players to modders, cheaters pools

hope they add mod support, and we can put mod files in separate directories, those files will be reading only in single player mode

Rockstar might let singleplayer mods off the hook as long as they are not something big like Real cars and infinite money, but yes I do hope there's a singleplayer only folder to put mods.

i think they not going turn online to trash (like bugy car converts or captain america or hulk skins, weird weapons models) they will put every modder to modders pool to protect casual players

Not happening

Under normal R* server conditions there will be no mods for Online....

However, we know there are already teams working on dedicated server conditions, which will not be under R*'s control. This will let server Admins decide their own rules and enforce their own conditions.

Mods will be allowed Online this way, since they can be integrated into the server list. They will be required to participate on the server and if the mod isn't on the list you will not be permitted to join.

Not trying to be off topic but I saw some heists videos and based on seeing them and from the reviews I can say that HEISTS ARE OVERHYPED PIECE OF TRASH. :(R* Don't go the Ubisoft way.

Why ? From what I've heard they seem cool. It's a giant update which is free after all

4 player co-op missions which are not a 20 minutes deal but hours, with several side missions and all kinds of new content, what could be wrong ? They didn't lie about the features in the videos and articles.

I haven't seen any videos though I want to try it out myself and want that surprise feeling.

(By the way do not describe the update too much, I don't want no spoilers or anything which could be considered as a synonym or similar, thanks.)

i need to say- big thanks to R* games

Heists are not bad, would be better if you could you know, play with your damn friends! Last night it was only working with randoms! I don't know how you PC only players think Rockstar could do 64 Players on PC when they can't even handle keeping FOUR people together right now! :p:D

Overhyped maybe.

Trash? Quite frankly I think the regular missions are already pretty fun (or at least have the potential to be very fun on the PC version), no idea how heists could be trash.

Especially not if you have 4 friends to play them with, all with microphones.

No thanks.

It's already enough of a clusterf**k with the PS3 playercount.

More isn't necessarily better.

I have to agree with this. 16 players on PS3 and GTA Online already felt hostile. I can only imagine double the hostility on CG consoles AND PC.

heists are good but overhyped thats because of long release time i mean firstly heists going to be usual missions just their name is heists (similar to gta v single player heists not big deal) but after 1.5 years its just overhyped everyone said something big coming and boom. in the end its a free dlc r* doing good work keeping online alive with cars, clothes, missions and all of that for free.

He's clearly not asking nor wanting 64 Players.

Just mentioning the fact that there are people wanting this and meanwhile the game or servers struggle with a 4 Player Matchmaking service.

32 is enough.

I already made a post explaining why 64 could be a problem, but of course, theory is a thing, another is proofing it.

You can easily tell the difference between heists and a normal, repetitive GTA Online "missions" from gameplay videos.

I also agree. In general, for some reason, the PC community of today has it in their head that more players = better...and that's like..ridiculous. Even back to the CoD4 days..64 player shipment servers were "the" thing...i don't know why. The only game I've played where 64 doesn't feel like a clusterf*ck is Battlefield 3/4.

Except, on CoD4 shipment, you never saw anyone. It was spawn, throw grenade, die from someone elses grenade, get 12 kills from grenade, repeat.

I think that's the very reason people love their games to be a clusterf*ck.

They don't have to rely on their non-existent skills.

Just happen to spawn on someone's back while he's busy fighting off someone else, free kill.

Yeah 30 players is completely fine in my opinion. I mean I will probably end up playing with my friends most of the time to keep it fun .. I hate dealing with kids and hackers.

64 may seem great for such a big world, but it would be a mess. Even the biggest maps of Battlefield 4 with 64 players are often a complete mess.

And regarding the heists update - it's not the first time that the console players started bitching about the free, I repeat FREE stuff they recieved. I mean they should've expected there would be problems, sometimes the developers just can't really predict this stuff. And heists are not a simple update fixing some minor bugs, it's almost 5 GB of complex content so have some patience.

When the PC version comes out I won't even play Online the first week. I want to fully enjoy what I've been waiting for, have a tour aroud the whole map, do some missions, learn the streets as in every single GTA game. That's the best gaming feeling ever, no game can compete with GTA.

Sometimes I just feel that all those people complaining about updates are teenagers who just can't appreciate anything, especialy when it's free. Of course there are some reasonable players on those platforms, I'm not putting everyone in the same bag. But I'm always seeing more of bitching than appreciating. I hope PC community will correct the balance at least a bit.
