I'm pretty sure we'll get Heist too, so what's the problem.

I'd gladly talk about the PC version, but so far, we have no news anymore, as you probably noticed.

I don't know if this has been discussed, but R* allowing us to purchase "kesh kerds" directly from Steam would be a smart move.

 

My reasoning:

 

1. Convenience.

 

2. Steam, unlike PSN or XBL, allows you to make money through trading and the Community Market. People can sell cards, CSGO skins, TF2 items, etc. make some cash (Steam Wallet if through Community Market) and they can spend it on buying cash cards (probably the lower amounts, but still). R* stands to make lotsa' money, Valve will also make money from the Community Market sales AND cash card purchases.

 

 

On top of this, R* (and Valve) can make money if GTA V has Steam Trading Cards, which would also include emoticons and backgrounds.

I don't think they have enough of a grip on reality to realize this.

I also think Shark cards are going to be Socialclub based only.

I dunno. If the shark cards are considered DLC in the same vein as some of the Max Payne 3 stuff on Steam, then we may very well see them on the Steam store. But if they're just in-game micro-transactions, like AC Unity (poor example, but the only one that comes to mind at the moment) then I'm pretty sure they'll just keep that stuff in-game.

 

However, I seem to remember the shark cards being purchasable through a Xbox Live Marketplace interface in-game (360), so the Steam version equivalent to this would be the Steam store, right? It makes sense in that case, but they could always just construct a DLC store in-game specifically for PC, to avoid dividing the availability of all of their DLC, present and future.

That's mostly because neither Sony or Microsoft would ever allow any publisher to sell anything via third party app or website.

I'll point out the differences I have noticed on the video...

- Draw Distance seems increased, not sure

- Detail Distance visibly increased

- LOD's look the same as PS4, but maybe there are a few changes in how it works with the Draw Distance configuration.

- Texture Filtering increased

- Vegetation Density is the same as PS4 but renders further

- Tree models are improved and have more detail on the wood plank

- Palm leafs look smoother at closer distance

- Most textures have higher resolution

- Weapon Details are improved

- Hands and maybe the whole characters have more polygons

- More lights being rendered at buildings

Am I crazy or the Detail Distance on PS3 looks better than PS4 on the Farm Comparison?

The stairs at the water tower and the fence seems to be better rendered on PS3.

no major difference but obviously it looks better

textures-same

geometry and lod's -same

lighting sources-same but more brightness not depend on the version of the game as they are part of the game world

lighting model-looks more brightness diff weather cycle rays/sun angle and colors

much more AA,AO

improved drawing distance meant far objects like grass and trees per one scene

vehicle headlight shadows

also spotted hands glitch in ammunation (happens only in online)

I had a dream today:

 

The pirated version was released two days before the official game release and since I didn't want to wait to try it (I've got my preload already purchased on Steam don't ban my ass Admins) I downloaded it.

 

It worked more or less nicely at mid-high settings (ps4 graphics) around 45-60fps. Kinda like max Payne did.

 

The police IA was turned to extreme mode. It was impossible to survive and they would lock up entire streets with barriers and vans and then they would surround you and kill you. They were heavily protected since a full assault rifle mag to the chest didn't kill them.

Nice try trying to rail it back but i don't think what you say will work, at least for 1 day lol. Apparently i heard even Andreas gave up*.
