I think GTA VI won't come until 2019-2020 TBH. We already got current gen GTA, now the next one will probably come near it's life cycle as a grand ending to current gen when next gen (PS5, Xbox...two? lel) pulls up.

Well oldgen machines are out of the question for the next Rockstar titles as they are simply old.

 

So it should mean the gaps will be shortened. For all this suffering we should get a PC exclusive, but that's not even a 1% chance. I'll be happy with GTA V until the next one's out. If you compare IV and V, the fourth one can get boring way more faster than this one mostly because of the lack of features especialy online and also the overall feeling from the city. If that game could entertain me for years, GTA V will do up until the next one's out. There will be no more waiting for years anymore.

 

Unless of course the next GTA games comes out by the time console is switching to another Gen.

 

 

CG are expected to last as long as PS3 and X360, about 7-8 years. That'll be 2021 by the time PS5 comes out, and IV to V gap is 5 years. By the time it's 2017-2018, GTA VI should come out. With a quite huge gap between theoretical GTA VI release and theoretical PS5 release, I don't think it'll be the same situation as GTA V is.

 

 

I think that's a lot of wishful thinking.

For instance, you know that by the time GTA IV was out for as long as GTA V is now, they already released EFLC, right?

Where's GTA V SP DLC now? Nowhere to be found yet.

I think GTAO is going to make GTA V last longer than GTA IV did, and thus it's going to be more time until the next GTA game.

 

Besides, now that they made that much money with the release of a GTA game on 5 separate platforms, I don't think they want to go back to the old ways. If they need to wait a year or two more, they most likely will.

considering they are meant to be replayed over and over, i dont think itd be too bad to watch them. its not like watching the story playthrough for a totally new player who actually cares about the real gta, the single player.

Passing week just showed they can be very vocal, when they want to .... About the heists i mean, 2 articles all in one day ... Wish they were like that when it comes to PC version. On the other hand im glad they finally release it (the heists), maybe they will focus on PC version now, or am i wrong

I won't watch any videos of GTA V until I play it myself. So far I have only been watching funny moments from Vannos from time to time, nothing else. I have no idea of 80% of the game features, I have no idea what the story is about and I've successfuly avoided spoilers.

And Heists are no exception. With this update out, I'm not gonna watch GTA V videos at all.

I hope after it's out, that in the next couple of weeks they will focus on the PC version like they were focusing on Heists last week (very intensively)

I expect a PC Video Editor showcase at the end of March along with more articles maybe about some more exclusive features or just at least some screenshots. Then the PC trailer in April. Basicaly I hope they will keep on bombarding us with info.

how can you make an "official GTAF crew" when it already existed since the game came out?

That isn't PC only.

 

What is the point in a seperate crew for PC players, though? The one or the other GTAF Crew member (like me) will transfer their GTAO character to the PC. Plus, the advantage of more experienced players is, that they can help you out in any situation. Might be useful in free roam (if you don't play in private session only), especially if there are high-ranking players who are after you as soon as they see you. Let's not forget that high ranking players can invite you to missions that you do not have access to until a certain rank, even if you just started to play the game.

Obviously they'll be doing the same with the PC version when it's near the real releasedate,yup that's how the plan seems to be since they are done promoting the console version except for the SP DLC, does sound far away for it but yet i remember people "confirming" that "GTAV will never come to the new gen consoles before the PC version,Hesits will come with the PC version or after it"etc,just leaves us with what we do best,wait wait wait wait wait wait and wait.

Thoughts about PC Heists size??

I risk a maximum, MAXIMUM, of 7GB.

Considering that gta v is 42,44GB on x1 and 65GB on PC than 4,8 GB on x1 should be equivalent to 7,35 GB on PC.

Finally my GTA V PC Hype is coming back, and a trailer would be lovely!

I can't believe you guys think that once they update the Steam page they are updating the game at the same time. You know, they don't need to play the Steam version to update/develop/port/fix it.
