I don't understand how people can use a website called Kdrama as a source.

They don't even have a videogame section on their front page, take a hint people.

People will believe anything that gives good "news". Human nature.

 

Also, I hope I am not the only one getting kinda tired of seeing people say "tomorrow's the day, I just know it" every Monday.

Well I have two things to share. I was told that Grand Theft Auto IV didn't become available to Pre-Order on steam until one week from actual release. And I got someones opinion on Reddit about why the digital download is not available for pre-order anywhere. That person said it's because it doesn't make sense to pre-order a digital download.

Absolute bs. "that person" doesn't make sense. There are often incentives to preordering, steam usually offers 10% off and you may get bonus content. Or, like me, you just want to see that sweet, sweet name 'Grand Theft Auto V' in your library as soon as possible. Dat self assurance . Edited by Kipsta77

Heeeeeeh, i don't know, I've pre-ordered a few games in my life, very few, they were all digital, but the guy kinda has a point.

Aside from pre-loading if the option is even available or bonuses, there's not much point to digital pre-order.

Unless you have the money now and you're worried you might not have it when the game is released.

I agree, also don't forget the fact that Digital Pre-Order's are very common these days, mainly through Steam.

39 euro is $51.17 we can get cheaper from gmg they usually offer 25% off coupons for pre-order

I see you don't know "The Epoch Times" they are pure click bait. Also I still fail to see the reasoning for GTA V not being for pre-order on steam. Seriously I would buy it here and now. My only guess is that they want to open the pre-order a week from launch 'ala GTA IV' and have the big time money roll in fast.

Yes, "technical" we are waiting 2 months but when the first trailer "for consoles" (besides that the trailer says nothing about what platform would be) comes out we already know that would be a PC version, so for me is 3 years of waiting

Officially speaking, yeah. What about the build logs, though? Those were hardly official, yet they're more legitimate than some of the PR bull Rockstar spews with great frequency.

 

In general, we've been waiting since 2011. Everyone knew a PC version was going to be a thing at some point. There was no official announcement, yes. However, there was no need for one. So the fact that Rockstar refused to formally announce the existence of one is almost an insult to the intelligence of the fanbase.

 

Nevertheless, what's done is done. We're here now. The PC version has been worked hard on for at least two years now. I'm confident that It'll be a technological marvel. Others may not share the same optimism, and that's fine. We'll see what happens come launch day.
