After the heists release i.e. 10th March... I hope they put all their efforts into the PC version....

Since the heists are really coming on March 10...I think that GTAV on the PC is also really coming on April 14th.

what will you guys do when it happens?

To be fair, anything is plausible when you've got hope blinding your vision. It's good to stay optomistic but don't let it cloud your judgement. Prepare for the worst. If you start amping yourself up for March 10th to hear about a push forward in date you're 99.9% likely to feel dissapointment by the hand of an internet stranger.

 

I personally think this guy is here just to set people up for a fall.

And no, it's not about "hope blinding my vision", it's about what I keep saying for about a week now, the fact that I think TakeTwo pushed it back to april to get it released on their fiscal year 2015, which begins march 31st.

 

In that optic, it's plausible his "source" is right.

But what's even more plausible is that his "source" read about this fiscal year thing and made up this march 31st release story based on this.

Ok heists seems to be Fun but the Screenshots are pure bullshots again...They love to lie , I Will Never understand Why these console bullshots actually look better than the pc Shots .. somehow..

 

And for Those who Are inside of R* asses with all the "20 h of gameplay FOR FREE" dont forget that heist were supposed to be in the game from the very first Launch of gta online back in october 2013!

Cause they are probably taken from the Engine itself and not from the console, in this case PS4 (or they might even be PC screens.. you never know)

Iv been wondering, On steamdb it shows that gta v can not seem to hold more than 6 players ATM. Every time it has hit more than that it either kick's/disconnect's all or most of the other players. Could this be the reason behind the delay??

Not a chance....

 

The Steam testing is related to testing regarding Steam integration, nothing more. Since the game does not need Steam to run, then they are doing complete testing with their own launcher.

 

I am doubting the Steam version will do little more than download the client launcher and allow you to install through that piece of software.

No, Steam is not having any problems.

 

I don't think any of this delay is to do with the PC version really. I think the sheer lateness of Heists on console is causing our delays. I believe they were supposed to be released back around Valentine's Day but some delay there, either tech or tactical, caused the hold up.

To subside Point 4 however, it's better to treat PlayStation's more like a Subscription service, they give you games each month across all their platforms, there are plenty of people out there who don't even bother buying games on a PS3/4, all they do is subscribe and play the games they get in the subscription, and it's actually big titles too in most cases, I've played plenty of games I wouldn't have normally tried thanks to PS+ and even now, it creates this Steam like effect of having a huge f*cking back log, I'm only just working through games I bought, but on the PS+ side I have like 50 unplayed games that I can go to when I like (one of them being Yakuza 4, I've always wanted to play those crazy games).

 

edit: I guess it could be better summed up as a Netflix style service.

at the end of the day, you're still paying to play online which you don't have to do on pc. any extra goodies they add to the subscription is to help soften that fact with fluff.

 

The whole, pay for online thing, is seriously over-exaggerated. Sure, you pay, but it's like what, $40 a year? With tons of free AAA games available to download and 2 more games coming every month, it's very worth the price.

 

EDIT: It's 6 games if you count 2 PS3 games, 2 PS4 games, and 2 PS Vita games.

idk what triple A games you get on your psplus but for me it's always indie trash that I have no interest in.

 

besides $50 a year that i don't have to spend just to play online is $50 i can spend anywhere else. or on games ill actually play and enjoy from steam sales. high quality games not generic indie garbage.
