GTA V is 2nd on Steam already, clearly most people can't stay mad at R* that long :D

It hasn't left the Top 10 since the pre-order launched in January. Pretty impressive, considering all the delays.

 

Wonder how high it'd be if it was still releasing in 23 days...

Well guys. Seems like March-April was their planned release date from the beginning. http://www.gamesradar.com/new-rockstar-game-coming-april-2015-bully-2-surely/ And we thought it's gonna be some other game.

 

No. I don't think so. My guess is that they did plan to release the PC version soon and had a different, "new" title to be released around March 2015, but being the polishstar they are, PC got delayed to March(now April) and the new title would have been delayed to Fall 2015(which might again be delayed to 2016).

I'm pretty sure he's right.

 

I'm pretty sure PS3/Xbox360 version were meant to cover for Take Two's fiscal year 2013 financial revenue, while PS4/X1 was supposed to cover 2014 fiscal year (ending march 31st)

 

And PC version was always ready since 2013 but meant to cover for their fiscal year 2015.

 

Frustrating? Sure.

But don't forget they have shareholders to please and that those guys have invested a LOT of money in this game.

They'd better make it back with insane interests if TakeTwo expects them to come back for more and invest in the next GTA game.

What players can expect on the Rockstar Editor this week would be a new trailer that would showcase the new feature. To amp up players on just how great the addition of an original custom video maker will be for the PC version of “GTA V,” Rockstar Games also released some interesting “GTA V” PC screenshots. yes i believe so. heists are coming to everything at once and would come to pc too if the f*ckin game was out already lol

 

its future titles i worry about. getting sick of always waiting months after game is out on console just to play it.

yes i believe so. heists are coming to everything at once and would come to pc too if the f*ckin game was out already lol

There'll always be a delay between console release and PC release I think. Sadly it's how Rockstar roll.

 

We can but hope that we don't get such a lengthy delay with future games such as VI. The gap will likely be similar to the console release and PC release of IV IMO. That said, if they announce VI's release on PS4 and XBoxOne towards the end of their life cycle then we'll probably go through all this again as a remastered version gets made and released for PS5 and XBoxWhatever with PC version following at a later date.

 

It sucks but I just can't see Rockstar changing their ways. Even if PC sales for V are through the roof Rockstar will likely see that as vindication of their sales strategy rather than release the PC version side by side with the console version.

seriously though, haven't found a more complete model of the dude in the suit, someone has probably made one but i haven't found it yet.

seriously though, haven't found a more complete model of the dude in the suit, someone has probably made one but i haven't found it yet.

 

Fair enough. Soon (in a few weeks or so) we will be playing that scene for real. :)
