I wonder if anyone has cracked the next-gen files to see if the build logs and debug data is still there. With Rockstar's clumsiness we could have an updated file. On the last-gen release it wasn't only the build logs but internal graphs with bug counts per development phase.

I honestly think that the wait for this game has transcended the realm of simple patience and waiting. It has gone deep into severe mental/emotional torture territory.

I mean...

If you're very used to the PC standard of Smooth Frame-Rate, Fast Response Controls and all that kinds of stuff, it's kinda disappointing and somewhat disgusting to play at this way. It just doesn't feels ideal, doesn't feels like the great way to play.

I'm not bashing the LG version, alright?

 

It will be kinda different this time..

With the addition of the First Person View, the Smoother frame-rate, Fast Controls and Improved Graphics, it'll probably be a shock for those who only played LG.

I did play it a bit, was interesting, but y'know...

Not the best experience.

Still, if you can only play this way, it's better than nothing.

LG Version does its best, it's a huge game, and these consoles despite being old, can do the job.

Well, that was one pointless argument on the last couple of pages. Removed most of the argument. Take it to PM next time, please.

 

As for Just Cause 3, most of the screens don't really impress me, to be honest. It doesn't look that good, and the screens that use heavy amounts of blur are most probably bullshots. I would rather wait for the previews and in-game footage.

1 - Nice finding. We are on the right way!

2 - R* never intend to release the game in January. They gave us a 2 months delay afetr the next-gen release because it's not THAT bad knowing they will push it a little bit more later.

I'm not sure how to find the memory for the video card but I think it's 2GB.

 

Also I agree the delay to March really sucks!

Hey guys,

I'm back, but i have to confess something............ I bought a PS4 .................. with GTA V .

I gave in and i know that it wasn't the *right* decision, but hey i didn't only buy it for GTA V, because now i can also play all the games that did not or will not come to PC, for example Destiny, Infamous, The Last of Us, Driveclub, The Order: 1866, and some other games that run better on the PS4 than on PC (because they got optimized better for the PS4 or the PC version is just a bad port, not that the PS4 is better than a PC, so calm down.)

 

You know I never owned a console newer than the PS2 (and that was for DBZ-games mostly) so yeah.

 

So i played GTA V and i must say it's really amazing, i enjoy all the little details i discover in this game and i must say GTA Online is a very great part of the game. Nonetheless i will be buying the PC version of the game and i will be transferring my GTA Online character to the PC version so i can enjoy the game on PC with all you guys!

 

 

EDIT: What i do want to know is the following: On what FPS will this game run on PC with those low system requirements, because all console-bashing aside, the PS4 and X1 are powerful machines, not as powerful as Maxed PC or a Pixel Collider, but still, because i can notice some lag when it's heavily crowded in Los Santos, for example in the Beverly hills kinda area where all the expensive stores are when there is a lot of traffic and that's when the game is locked on 30 FPS @ 1080p without all the extra fancy PC settings.

You could consider it in a different way: I bought a PS4 for all the other games and the Cheapest PS4 combo was the one with GTA V, so

 

Still I will buy the game for PC it doesn't matter, i'm enjoying infamous and destiny atm on PS4 and i will be getting TLoU and driveclub, so it it wasn't only for GTA.

Let's also hope recommended requirements are for high 1080p 60 fps rather than high 1080p 30 fps.

By the way http://mafro.ca/v/ doesn't work for half a day now.

Since the PS4 is basically running at the rec specs, especially the GPU, I would suggest those specs are for that performance, but since the frame rate is unlocked, it should be higher, hopefully 40 to 45....

 

I am going to see if I can experiment with a possible frame rate lock and adapting the settings to compensate, see if I can get a better result that way than just running as standard.

 

I hope the Steam overlay works as I have bought it that way. If so I should be able to run the fps counter now included, rather than having to use 3rd party software....

On paper it is. Weak CPU's in new consoles bottleneck GPU's. R7 260x outperforms PS4 in most games. Then there's R7 265 and then R9 270 which is in recommended specs. Also this game runs in 1080p on Xbox One which has even weaker GPU, probably on R7 250x level. If R9 270/270x can't run it on high 1080p 60 fps then I"ll be suprised. Yes, we get the same 'returning content' bonus as the New-Gen consoles advertised, so returning players from Last-Gen or New-Gen do get access to the Dodo.

Exacly, i never feared a 4th delay because i knew there wasnt gonna be any, the only obstacle between us and the game right now is Time
