Sorry for the rant, but i need to let it out...

I know it's slightly off-topic but you can't imagine the chaos that's happening these days in Italy regarding GTA V!

The game has been out for eternity but this last month only there have been something like 2 newspaper articles, a tv talkshow and a mention on the tv news, all about GTA V!

They are all trying to ban it from the market and a mom even wrote to our president directly! (saying completely false stuff)

They are saying anything...really anything they randomly think about...

 

I feel ashamed to live in this country...on TV they are saying "The goal of GTA V is to run over pedestrians and the more you kill the better the score"!

WHAT THE HELL? Only GTA 1 (or maybe 2) featured that function, which wasn't the focus of the game anyway.

They are also saying the other game's goal is to dismember women!

WTF?!?!? Do they even read about what they are criticizing? What the hell...

An other funny thing is that the same programs (airing during the kids-teenager broadcasting time) say they are concerned about our teenagers mental health and moral integrity but 5 minutes later they show the latest almost naked pictures of the latest "sexy star" with a huge focus on the new shiny fake breasts, latest sexual relationships and tips to embrace that lifestyle... (Basically they say "GTA will turn your children into satanists", and a minute later "Check out the latest picture of italian actress "X" on the latest boat party in "Portocervo". Look how much fun they have! f*cking on the bridge, snorting cocaine and motorboating in those huge fake breats...isn't it fun?").

 

An other funny thing? The news related the "Charlie Hebdo" tragedy directly to GTA V....of course...

 

I'm buying the british version of the game...i'm afraid the italian one might be censored or banned and i'm almost sure the english one is uncut.

But seriously...i hope a bloody bomb destroys italy someday in the future...fortunately i'm moving out soon.

 

Sorry for the strange post, but that's a warning for everybody willing to visit italy. Beautiful cities/locations but the people are (almost) all medieval uber-moralist-narrowminded-stupid-sex obsessed-peasants. (i know this thread if full of italians; the offense wasn't targeted to you, AMICI )

Italy it's not only country to do this, here in Brazil from time to time theres a channel called Record they do some news about violence on video games, there as time they do news about GTA SA about saying you could kill brazilian Football(Soccer) Clubs Fans in the game but surely it's only a mod someone made and the objective of the game is to kill policies, pedestrian and do car robbery, and they picked some mentally f*cked up kids that they say the games changed they behaviours and put some parents crying about it, very ridiculous.

Yeah, I remember that after their news about GTA Torcidas, they even sued R* because all the brazilian R* fans were sh*tstorming Record on their site via report and via social media. Record was even celebrating victory "O fim da violência virtual" on their sh*tty site before the judgement. After they lost the cause, they've deleted the article like it was never created before. I laughed my ass off lolheauhueahuehauehaue

 

Detail: Record is an envangelichal TV broadcaster, that explains a lot, but the envangelichal programs are broadcasted at dawn. They broadcasts shootouts programs and bitches being bitches programs during the day.

Just bought LA Noire Complete for $3, I guess I'll give it a shot.

Apparently, everyone with a steam account linked to an hotmail.com e-mail account are screwed at the moment, we can't receive messages with codes from Steam. Hotmail is blaming steam and steam is blaming hotmail.

 

Now let's wait for the fix.

 

Doesn't surprise me to be honest. My job involves dealing with a lot of customer service teams and it seems to be the default response now that when there's a problem the blame gets passed onto someone else.

 

I recall on a personal and Steam related level that I had a problem installing Batman Arkham Origins upon release as my activation code didn't work. Steam blamed WB Games and WB Games blamed Steam. Then Steam blamed Amazon who I had purchased the game from. The only ones not blaming anyone were Amazon. Can't remember whose fault it was in the end (I wasn't the only one affected by this issue) but it did get resolved thankfully. I'm sure the Steam/Hotmail thing will also get sorted eventually but it sure is annoying when you see the blame being passed around rather than them just putting their heads together to locate the source of the problem.

same shet happening here, blaming the game "Grand Theft Auto" that was for Xbox360 (then start showing GTA SA footage -facepalm-) for some kid that killed his grams or something
