  1. 1. When will the preorder option on steam be available for GTA V PC?

"...and the chances of me cancelling the pre-order also grew significantly with that."

Just do it already. -.-

Also, even though you had no intention to start a flame-war, it may happen with such comments.

Oh, no one cares about your specs, that's not the point of the discussion at the moment.

Uncle Sikee Atric

There is still no proof that this means it is optimised by nVidia and it could be just as much an advertisement as a R* press release....

It does point in the direction of nVidia optimisation, but again only small parts of the Gameworks system seem to be present, not a signiicant portion of it.

I'll still keep an open mind on in-house optimisation for now until something more concrete arrives.... Until I see it, I could expect to see a similar advert in the next Catalyst Driver update, one should be due pretty soon.

I'm still open minded on the specs as well as the two rec cards are equivalent and not miles apart as it usually is with Gameworks optimisation. Or is that just Ubisoft trying to hide their shame of sh*tty optimisation?

Realistically it probably just is an ad like any other. "Hey, this famous game is coming to PC, why not play it if you have our graphics cards?". AMD will probably do the same soon on their installers.

Followed by R* Games.

This thread isn't only about GTA V and Steam for a very long time, and if it still is, I'm not the only one posting another thread discussion here, so please, don't be an hypocrite because there is already a thread to post about heists: http://gtaforums.com/topic/754759-heists-finally-revealed/

Acting as a backseat mod against me isn't ugly for me, but it's for you. Do you see where your logic flaws? It can be used against you at several situations :)

At some point, you're right, I've forgot to unquote you, now it's too late to do it...

I'm crossing the fingers to it be an AMD optimized game or a game free from optimizations deals because both decisions will benefit both GC users (NVIDIA and AMD) and everyone will be able to run the game just fine.

I'm sure that GTA V will be release at march, I'm talking this since the september incident, now it only remains to know if the game will run fine on my rig or if it'll be a GTA IV[2].

Hasn't AMD uploaded one of the gta trailers to its yt channel? maybe that's a sign that it's optimized for both gpus?

Try doing a clean install, uninstall drivers and everything related.

I had this bug already, this should fix it.

Just remove it first before installing.

Do normal uninstall via Control Panel, then go into Safe Mode and use DDU ( http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/ddudownload.htm), then go back to Safe Mode and install new drivers there.

I had this problem before update, so I downloaded it directly from nVidia website and I did a clean instalation. Now everything is okay. Try to reinstall your drivers.

i never use that geforce experience program, it's just bloat that will screw up your pc. download the drivers the old fashion way from the website and always uninstall everything using ddu.

To enter safe mode, you should keep pressing F8 multiple times before the Windows logo appears while booting your computer.

I use Win 7, so I wait for a _ blinking on the top left, do on the same time.

Not sure if it'll be the same there, just do it before the Windows loading logo appears.

Then you use DDU to remove the drivers.

Go back to normal mode and reinstall.

DDU should remove everything I believe.

Yes, reinstall it on Normal Windows.

Ok i found a way to update
i done it manually, Nvidia Experience keeps crashing if i go to Drivers TAB (must be a bug from the new update so i will just wait for a new update that fixes this  )
Till then, for the ppl that want to update their drivers just go to this link and scan ur system xD
http://www.geforce.com/drivers

If this doesnt get fixed, i will do safe mode

for those who have already played gta V on console, i would ask... is there any "right hand drive" car?

and.. are all the cars customizable (i mean just aesthetics) or only some like in san andreas?
