Rockstar are going to release heists tommorow. Nuff said.

 

 

I doubt Heists....

 

Valentines' Day Massacre (and new timed bonus content) is much more likely I am afraid to say.

 

Let's look at the timetable with 6 weeks to go for us and how it would fit into nice chunks.

 

1) This week, Valentine's Day Massacre content. New preview and content vid for Heists as a bonus either this week or next.

 

2) In 2 Weeks time, Heists launch after all Valentine's is done.

 

3) 2 Weeks later (Calling Spongebob joke, before somone else does!), Heists bedded in and community back to bitching about it, PC previews and content vids are released.

 

4) 24th March arrives and we are go.

 

That seems to make the most sense to me, R* get to split everything into 2 week chunks to keep the community busy until our launch.

 

Didn't they already have that event last year? They wouldn't do it again. I don't understand the community's complains about Online.. I feel like I'm the only one who wants to simply play single player and enjoy.

They re-released Christmas, I doubt they'll miss Halloween and a lot of people want the Roosevelt anyway. They'll run it again and add a few new items, just like they did before.

The more time passes by, the more i'm happy to have waited for the ultimate version of the game.

I resisted PS3 temptation (Purchased a copy, but never opened and sold it for twice as much some time later).

I very hardly resisted PS4 (which i own as a platform)...this time it almost got me...the trailers were too beautiful.

 

For me the game would go beyond my better expectations even if it featured PS4 graphics, only with better antialiasing and draw distance, but i saw the latest comparison and the PC version looks even better!

I'll be super excited!

I have never been so eager to explore a (GTA) world since San Andreas (Which i only got in 2005). Vice city still remains my favourite (you don't say :rol: ) but for now i think san andreas is among the 10 greatest videogames ever!

 

Hope GTA V will be featured in that list ;)

 

God playing this bloody game once and for all will be a relief for the long wait istelf!

 

By the way, still haven't seen a single gameplay clip so far (not even the official gameplay trailers from 2 years ago) ;) I don't usually compliment myself, but boy, that's some fine Self-Control ;)

Yes he is....

 

I have to laugh actually. The amount of junk GTA V news channels on YouTube that are posting about this, just because some 'tweet' from a disreputable source appears.... At least Jobless Garrett tries to be balanced and makes an effort, but the '2 minute posting fraternity,' that muck around linking and discussing this turd? Have we got this tripe to look forward to, or is there going to be a channel that makes an effort with the news for the PC crowd?'

Oh, one other thing.... These turds have started moaning at R* now for the lack of new content since the New-Gen launch. Are they seriously doing that now with new content imminent?

 

The consoles boys got too used to monthly new content if you ask me, now R* are actually busy making steps to expand the game with Heists and PC content, they have to remember that is five platforms they have to work on.

 

Once these next few weeks pass and we are launched as well, things will calm down again. I guess new content will be every six to eight weeks after the PC launch, so all five platforms get the necessary content testing.

Oh.... I am posting this point purely aimed at the guys and gals just posting 'news'. I enjoy watching channels like Vanoss and their Crew and Speedy and his Crew, because they are not posting news.

 

These guys actually have fun, have a laugh and record the chaos. They might use glitches and the like, but they do it to have fun! They do not make a post about how to do the glitch, they just record the results of them trying it, without letting on how to do it.

 

Another channel of note is Gun1t123, his actual name is Shaggy and he is one of the hardcore racing fraternity. They run seriously tough races across the map and when they post multi-view races, it really is something to watch. Another benefit of watching him is he is a seriously good vehicle reviewer, looking at every vehicle you can mod improve and style, so you can get a good idea of vehicles by looking at his back catalogue.

 

This is what I expected of GTA V YouTube channels in the first place! Not some kid making a living by posting a worthless 2 minute clip and a useless rumour or demonstrating how to exploit a glitch.... Grow up and be realistic!

TmarTn2's GTAO vids are not bad too. Xpertthief's vids are also good. :)

I'd say I envy you, but that's just not true.

I'm glad I played it a bit on PS3, now I know enough of the singleplayer to fully enjoy its ultimate version.

And I made enough progress in the online so I won't get frustrated with not having the AK (don't remember if I unlocked the Carbine yet, though).

I can hear the screams on the edge of my hearing right now and if it is of the pitch and intensity I am expecting, only bats and dogs will hear the the peak of it!

On the topic of newswire news,

TDM "Dam and Blast" for GTA:Online which I really enjoyed playing in GTA SA muliplayer Capture the flag mode,it's a very fun place.Good old days :D .I can't wait for GTA 5 to play on that location,it will be a great feeling.

I would rather have 1080p Maxed (Including 8xAA).

Latest screens looked more like a 4K Showcase, graphics were better than consoles...

But had some flaws, which makes me think they haven't maxed out because it would be too heavy *4K taxes a lot*, IDK, that's my point of view.

So now we can assume that it's most likely nVidia optimized or at least promoted by nVidia and there is no chance for Mantle support.

Really, every single game with nV Gameworks sucks? Maybe they're just all made by Ubisoft xD .

I'm sure nvida already tested out GTA V with their newest driver update or beta whatever, it is. So they will optimize the game to the best performance for prior release. It only...

But the chances of being nVidia Optimized grew with that.

...and the chances of me cancelling the preorder also grew significantly with that.

 

As I told before, gameworks is a dealbreaker for me because if GTA V use gameworks, then it will be only a mere GTA IV² with cartoonish graphics.

 

I won't spend R$100,00 for a colorful version of GTA IV that will be crippled to my rig. I can already do similar thing with ENB on IV and have the same slow and unstable performance that V will have with gameworks.

 

I wanna play GTA V PC at least at 45fps~60fps easily on my AMD R9 290 blue with 3 coolers, 6GB RAM and AMD FX-8350, 1TB HD without baidu antivirus installed on it.

 

This comment isn't meant to start another AMDxNVIDIA flamewar, please don't answer me with fanboyolism.
