Is it just me, or did the icon for GTA V change when I look at Grand Theft Auto V in my steam library?

It did, yes. It's just without the "FIVE" now.

Does any one feel GTA V gonna surprise us with something new in release ... i don't know maybe new feature or mod support like Steam workshop or new content !! i feel rockstar can't release the game on pc without a new experience to try .

Keeping your hopes up only leads to disappointment....

 

For extra features, I think we will count ourselves lucky if they up the object count in Content Creator. Since there is no cross platform sharing of content, even though the console crowd scream for it, it seems a possible bonus feature. But that looks about it for extras to me....

I'm not surprised actually. In fact I think the paranoia makes sense. Lately Gameworks titles are horribly optimized for AMD.

It says a lot when even nVidia users fear a Gameworks title, even a few of them have had their moods dampened by this discovery. It just seems the Ubisoft shame of last year has upset a hell of a lot of people.

Hopefully GTA5 won't bring down the Steam servers once preloading gets activated.

 

I'll be playing this untill GTA5 releases.

I just found out my spring break is march 20-march 30. My hype is back. I cant believe when gta v comes out i will have time to play it 24/7.

Steam can easily handle it. But I can't say the same about Social Club servers, they can fall March 24th.

Well I agree with you there but a low end PC nowadays is an i3 or dual core i5 in my opinion....

Your rig is way past a "lower end" PC as far as I am concerned....

So they just updated the Steam page. The game now officially supports Steam Achievements. Hope they also offer Trading Cards support. :D

Are you absolutely sure that games that utilize Nvidia's Gameworks technology are horribly optimized for AMD.

 

Far Cry 4: A Gameworks Title. AMD is as good, if not better than Nvidia.

No one cares about (only) average frames per second. A benchmark is useless without minimum fps.

And the paranoia continues... you know it's not so hard to go Google benchmarks and check out the minimum FPS yourself...

 

But I went through the trouble to prove my point... again.

As you can see, the minimum FPS is consistent on both AMD and Nvidia graphics cards, neither performs significantly worse than the other.

I know of not a single game that performed good on Nvidia but terrible on AMD.
