Seems like the gift was bought in china before the region lock, what does this mean for me now? Cause subID is still 58504

What has AMD done in recent years that even matches any of the advancements Nvidia made to the GPU world? They've been right there, alongside all the big name studios pushing the envelope all along. G-Sync is the latest great thing but I remember about 2 years ago they were talking about improvements they made to the driver for frame pacing and how even though they benchmark slightly lower frame-rates compared to AMD parts, people kept saying subjectively it felt smoother on the Nvidia rig despite a lower average frame-rate. It's because AMD doesn't try to create a smooth render pace and just spits out as many frames as possible, but you get these runt frames that may as well not even count because they take up less than 1/8th the screen.

 

Anyway, if I save up for one new component for my gaming machine any time soon, it's going to be that monitor. 144hz IPS? AND G-Sync? Holy sh*t.

What nVidia has done is try to stifle competition by throwing money at developers to get them to use proprietary technologies that result in games running worse on AMD cards. AMD develops and supports open source technologies.

You still have the ROW SubID, dont worry.

 

You'd only need to worry in this case if the SubID changed, but it didnt. You got a ROW copy before it was locked via China. If it was purchased now in China, the SubID would be different.

The think i wonder, does it really have no controller support?? In that case i wont buy it...

 

There is literally no chance this game won't have controller support.

It might explain the reason that the recent PC screenshots looks awfully scrapped, I hope you're wrong. I don't trust these sys requirements.

so, i talked to the nuuvem support, wich sells the R* Social Club key, not the steam version, and they confirmed that the download for that version will be trough the Rockstar Warehouse, also they told me that they dont have any plans or info about ever getting steam keys for this game even in the future afther release, so the same can be presumed about gmg. So looks like the only way to get the steam version will be trough steam forever, :c

 

PD: Nuuvem sells mostly steam keys.
