  1. 1. When will the preorder option on steam be available for GTA V PC?

I just remembered I have a friend with PS3, so how do I become a returning player? Will it be enough to log in my RGSC account or will I have to create a PSN account too? Could somebody point me to a guide on this?

I think you'll need to play till Franklin and Lamar mission end, and *less likely* enter Online once...

Not sure about those things...

Nothing beats $1 = €1. But hey, VPN to Brazil for instant 50% off...

I tried it, it doesn't work. And now it is region locked anyway.

There is still one question unanswered. Why did it take almost two years to be released(PC)? (Original release date of gta v was spring 2013)

What secrets does the PC version hold inside?

Was there really an agreement (evil sony) to keep gta v as far away from pc as possible or was it just an illusion?

The mystery continues...

One question.

I have no interest in online, can I play in offline mode with rockstar games social club? like with steam.

46$ is still too much, it's should've been 30$ on steam and 20$ for other sellers.

There was no console deal from Sony or Microsoft. The only company that intentionally kept GTA V off PC for all this time, is Rockstar. This has been par the course for over 14 years now since GTA III. Release their game on console and many months later after console sales dry up release it on PC for another burst of cash.

It has literally not once been actually about optimization because every single GTA PC game is garbage. Buggy messes that require frame limiters to play bug free and at good performance. If V turns out to be anything but I will be surprised.

Man just thinking about the beginning of November how pissed I was about that delay to January. I even called it then saying if the next generation console sales are good these assholes will delay pc again to maximize profits. Turned out the next gen version did very well so gotta keep that maximum profits incoming by screwing over the pc fans one last time.

There won't be another delay this time, find some solace in that. The console sales will finally be dead by March 1st and the game is already done. Its been done. They're just mopping up the remains of those holiday sales before finally letting go.

I think just having console version in your RGSC is enough, because you'll have to complete story missions again.

Or... maybe you have to create online character and that becomes possible after that mission afaik, so, yeah.

Well thanks to splintter we can confirm that Brazil is indeed region locked in that you cannot gift it to people outside of South America. Rockstar is going hard trying to get their max money. 40 million copies sold on console for full price wasn't enough.

after region-locking Brazil, India and China, you can get it from Indonesian or Malaysian gamers if you want, it's about USD 44 for Indonesia and USD 43 for Malaysia.

US$ 42 for Indonesia, but yeah I get your point. The only real $60 game on Steam here is ARMA III, and probably some Ubish*t games.

I don't think they ever intended to release the game in January 27th. They thought that delaying 2 times was better than saying they were going to delay the game by half a year from the beginning (I think they were right, despite the sh*tty move). January is such a bad month to release games anyway. Everyone is broke from Christmas.

In my opinion GTA V Steam version was really in the early Developement process (packages, zone, tier, achievement, multiplayer system compatibility, pre-order, etc...) + the game graphics & all beta-testing bugs wasn't finished. That explain this 2months delay for me.

Also make the PC release after GTA Online Heist will make more Pre-Order when Heist will be on + make sell also more PS4/XBONE games.

There's still one place where they haven't changed the date yet and that's on their rockstargames homepage itself
