Since people are speaking about the download rates, let me brag a bit. If Steam will be in a good mood, I`ll probably download the 65Gb in an hour or so

 

100Mbps up and down

 

 

I dl Mp3 in about an hour with 100mb DL.

This should take around 2.5h, if steam works fine, without overload. I always download with max DL speed on steam. Great servers.

 

 

thats why i dont wanna get it from rockstar, god knows what kind of servers they have for the downloads D:

Rockstar will serve the downloads from the same content distributor Microsoft uses for their development and public purposes (Digital River). It will be just fine!

You can't anymore since they now have a separate Tier for the CN (Chinese) version of the game, so it's region-locked.

How can you tell? They must have done this over the past day? Is it the same with Brazil?

 

If I used a VPN to buy it in China/Brazil, but played the game from a US IP address, would Steam notice?

 

I might not risk it and pay the full $60 instead. If I didn't already have money in my steam wallet this wouldn't have been a problem

tf2outpost.com, search for gta 5 sellers. Don't buy it with a VPN, you'll get your account locked.

(Activating gifts with a vpn is fine, but buying stuff with a vpn is not)

i really would like this game and play it 24/7 after my exams session and start working some mods, i remember when IV came out i didn't have the game or a pc to play it and i made one of the first working vehicle mod with just the help of a friend who tested the files i gave him and reported the bugs with some screens

Also, it could mean that the game will be avalaible for playing when 00:00 clock ticks. That would be GMT +3 for you, or 03:00 in the morning if I understood good.

i would do the same thing...steam version comes with a CD-Key for social club and once you activate it the steam account and the social club are linked, now the question is if you just install the retail version and login in with that social club accoun that is linked to steam will it work or will require steam?

And if that works the cd-key from retail copy is useless...

 

i really hope this could be possible, we need to ask someone who has both max payne 3 on steam and also as retail copy hoping that gta v will work the same way
