I did not pre-ordered any "box key" !!

 

Doubt Rockstar would give them any information they didn't officially release.

 

And about the box, I think the keys you get from G2Play are just keys from the box version

BTW those worrying about prices and stuff, my recommendation for you is:

 

Sell some old games to GAME or GameStop or any videogame shop in your area that sells steam cards and buys games from customers.

 

Buy a 50$ steam card.

 

Buy game from Steam.

If max settings in an i5/gtx970 are 40-50fps, I hope it runs pretty well at 60fps with 2x antialiasing (i dont really like to use more, most games get super blurry, plus I cant afford the fps loss since my hardware is mid-high range) and high settings overall for everybody

 

Considering I have the same exact configuration they were talking about and I can run Unity at 60+ fps maxed out (I have to lock at 60 fps because my monitor is old), GTA V won't be a problem

Not sure I see your point.

If you mean to tell me that it's supposed to be a Steam key just because they wrote "Steam" on it, it doesn't mean anything, those are still keys they copied from boxes they bought (or stole according to some people but I quite doubt it).

Well, yeah.

They can't really sell keys they didn't secure yet, and the only pre-order option so far is for physical copies.

Well we don't even know if this is even real. We don't even know the resolution he used for the test.

 

And as for antialiasing, most AA options in most games devour your fps in a 4+ setting, specially in modern games.

 

I don't know why there's so much enthusiasm with setting antialiasing to max. Games look beautiful enough with FxAA or 2xSmaa.

 

(At least it is what it works for me, I can apply 4xsmaa to a lot of games but it either makes them blurry or you get like 5% sharper image, losing 30-40% of your fps)

I saw a mod in another thread mention that "There is a 50% chance of a delay, 50% chance of it releasing on the 27th". This is what I have to say to that mod:

 

Don't feed the delay stuff. There is no "50% chance". Rockstar have maintained that the release date is January 27. They've said *nothing else*. There is nothing to suggest a delay. You're just feeding this ridiculous "theory" created by people wearing tinfoil hats with no substance, no shred of evidence or truth to it. Rockstar is ALWAYS quiet. ALWAYS. They create HYPE from SILENCE, and they're REALLY good at it. There is, I repeat, NO "50% CHANCE OF DELAY". I'm surprised and a little shocked to see a mod of "GTAForums" saying that kind of stuff. It's kind of ridiculous.

 

I also must point out, no rules have been broken in this post. It's completely within the rules. I'm not insulting anyone in any way. I am stating completely fact based things.

I would have to say that that will be a very bad thing, if it were made by a studio under EA or UBISOFT for example we would have seen a hundred different DLCs/expansion packs/season passes etc etc.....this game is in good hands.
