Nvidia didn't talk about their technologies for in game. This is good. If a game stay near to Nvidia tech's, it has nice graphics but has f*ckin sh*t optimization.

Performance of nvidia tech games isn't bad cause of the nvidia tech, it's bad cause of the developers.

 

 

There are two effects here.

The performance of Nvidia Tech in games is really crap on AMD (wow, who would've guessed).

The performance of the game with all the Nvidia Tech turned off depends entirely on the developer.

Yeah right! FPS drops and lags all over the place is now "working well".

GTA on console is clearly not targeted towards their hardware with all the performance problems.

Unfortunately they don't have 21:9 monitors in their offices, so 1080p is the "max" resolution for him. He said you should try if MP3 or GTA IV supports 21:9, as the settings are really similar.

• Independence FM is back! What really surprised my source is how badly they f*cked that up though. The game doesn't read from id3 tag of your mp3s, but from the f*cking NAME. It has to follow a strict "TRACKNAME - ARTIST" style, so you have to change the names in the mp3 folder manually for it to display correctly.

 

• Several people asked what PC is he using and what settings give him 60 FPS. I confirmed with him that he doesn't have a 970 (duh, it doesn't have 2 GB memory as pictured in the screen ). He has an i5 3570K, with 8 GB RAM and a MSI GTX 770 Lightning edition.

These images convinced me, until I remember that you can disable the DOF in the console versions.

 

 

Also, as you can see on the image above, the sliders are less thick and are in the opposite direction. So why Rockstar would change the position/thickness of the sliders in the PC version?

This week, The Witcher 3's specs were released and that isn't coming out until May....Your argument is invalid.

It does NOT matter in the slightest what games revealed their requirements or when. So many games do it differently that it's useless comparing them. Here's a few recent releases that released their requirements closer to the release date:

 

Far Cry 4 - 11 days before release.

Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes - Were not finalized until ONE DAY before release.

Game of Thrones (Telltale) - 8 days before release.

 

Even Rockstar can be used in this argument. They didn't release the Max Payne 3 requirements until within 2 weeks of its release date. Because The Witcher 3, or Dying Light, or Saints Row Gat out of Hell has released requirements already means nothing in respect to GTA. They're all different developers/publishers and ALL of them release this information at a different time frame. Shadow of Mordor released its requirements almost 6 months before it was out. And arguing about it and using "Well this game already has them" means nothing and indicates nothing. They're across the board different.

 

Stop comparing GTA 5 to any other game or publisher in existence based on the damn timing of requirements being released.
