This week, The Witcher 3's specs were released and that isn't coming out until May....Your argument is invalid.

It does NOT matter in the slightest what games revealed their requirements or when. So many games do it differently that it's useless comparing them. Here's a few recent releases that released their requirements closer to the release date:

 

Far Cry 4 - 11 days before release.

Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes - Were not finalized until ONE DAY before release.

Game of Thrones (Telltale) - 8 days before release.

 

Even Rockstar can be used in this argument. They didn't release the Max Payne 3 requirements until within 2 weeks of its release date. Because The Witcher 3, or Dying Light, or Saints Row Gat out of Hell has released requirements already means nothing in respect to GTA. They're all different developers/publishers and ALL of them release this information at a different time frame. Shadow of Mordor released its requirements almost 6 months before it was out. And arguing about it and using "Well this game already has them" means nothing and indicates nothing. They're across the board different.

 

Stop comparing GTA 5 to any other game or publisher in existence based on the damn timing of requirements being released.

Can't you, like, get a physical copy instead ? And how does this Steam thing work ? If you buy a physical copy of the game, can you simply add the game to your Steam library and download it instead of install it from the disk?

You say you can confirm how many DVDs there WILL be, meaning you didn't see them, or even the box, but you don't tell if there will be a delay or not. If someone told you about the discs, do you have any clue about when you'll get them in your shop ?

If the game is not gold and being delayed, they shouldn't tell how many discs there will be yet because the game is not going to be duplicated for now because it's not ready to be shipped anywhere yet. But if you know for sure the number of discs, so it's not being delayed?

 

This is really taking on my nerves. I want truth.

Anything will be discussed over and over until R* makes an official statement that don't leave any space for doubt. It's not the case yet, let's admit it.

I don't believe in a delay, but the doubt is still here.

 

 

And 7 discs man... I remember when Stranglehold was out, 15 GB, in 2007. People were mad about it, kind of. This is insane. XD

I may be wrong, but I think the reason why a lot of people are talking about delays, is because Rockstar said (they said it a few weeks ago) they would announce the system requirements next week.. And we still haven't heard anything about it. There's still time for them to post the sys requirements and other things, but I can understand why everyone gets worried if Rockstar promises something and still doesn't announce anything.

Seriosly? Did you overclock your CPU? The "970 G1 Gaming" are for sure power efficient, but if you overclock either cpu or gpu, your psu will definitely bottleneck!

I have an Asus Strix GTX 980 OC, and have overclocked it alot more. Also my CPU is overclocked. And if you want to run GTA V in 60 FPS at 1080P @ Ultra, i can guarantee youll have to overclock your cpu.

I know there is no sysreq yet, but this is absoluty sure!

And with an OCed CPU and/or GPU, with 1 SSD and 1 HDD, it will bottleneck!

Seriosly? Did you overclock your CPU? The "970 G1 Gaming" are for sure power efficient, but if you overclock either cpu or gpu, your psu will definitely bottleneck!

PSU doesn't bottleneck system. And no, he will be fine. 970 need 28amps, that PSU have 45amps on 12V rail and I doubt anyone can OC their GPU that much.
