Impossible, 2 weeks before game release is what Rockstar like to release some news.

This was posted on NFOHump.com alongside those Fake Screens, but seriously if this happens to be true, i'm seriously going to flip the f*ck out, excuse me for my language:

 

Doesn't really look much better than PS4 version

• Holds 40-50 FPS on i5 4670K @ 3.6 GHz and 970, maxing out all settings except AA

• Described graphics options as "similar to those in GTA IV", you have your view distance slider etc

• There seems to be some mouse acceleration and the key bindings are a little off (while you press "up" to access your phone, after you enter the camera stuff you need to press "c" to exit the mode, which is a little confusing)

• He couldn't try MP yet, but it doesn't seem to do anything differently than PS4/XBO versions, has the same player cap

• The video editor is tons of fun, the same as in IV, you have a ton of songs from the game to choose from, although not all of them

• You can type numbers on your phone with keyboard keys

While the game doesn't really look that better than PS4 version, the crowd&cars density seems to be massively improved

• When he turned all the settings to their lowest value, the game still didn't reach over 60 -> possible 60 FPS lock?

• The game really shines when you use FPS mode with a mouse, but mouse acceleration is there, and there are no easily editable PC config files that he could notice

• He installed it on an SSD, and while the pop-in is still noticeable, it's far less jarring than in the derpsole versions

IMO if we won't hear anything by Tuesday 13th, then the possibility of a delay/crappy version etc. will rise significantly

 

Most developers release infos/requirement on their games 2 weeks before release AT THE LATEST

Except Steam keys ARE NOT mentioned on any of these sites you mention.

It says on GMG "Other DRM" above the price box and there's no mention of Steam at all on the store page.

 

And also, GMG, GamersGate and Newegg are not third party sites. They are authorized sellers. Rockstar even advertises them, but its no guarantee they will carry the Steam version. All 3 carry games for other services like uPlay and Origin. Rockstar are not going to be advertising G2A etc.

 

Its very likely that the Steam version will only be able to be purchased directly from Steam at least from the information that is known at this point. Until that info changes, if you want the Steam version, just wait and see what happens over the next few days/weeks.

I'm not telling that I'm 100% sure and it'll be like I say. But it would be odd that after you bought game key from R* digital partners you still have to get retail version of game somehow in order to activate that key... Although maybe R* prepared some kind of downloader for those keys...

Anyway, all I'm saying is, that if we will be able to buy steam keys they'll be provided first from those sites I mentioned earlier.

 

Also, about the price... I really want this game in my Steam library but that voting with your wallet thing seems reasonable. 60Euro in my country is very much, even for game like this. Not to mention delay and this silence... I'll wait and see how this game behaves on day one, after that I'll know where to get my copy.

I mean, they're selling the Steam version, but the Steam version has no Pre-Order available yet.
